POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/12/18

Quinn Cook, GS at LAC
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $5,000

Cook couldn’t have done a better job filling in for Stephen Curry (groin) on Saturday against the Nets, scoring 27 points to go along with three rebounds, five assists, one steal, and three three-pointers. Across 18 starts last year, Cook averaged 14.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.2 three-pointers. With Curry out again Monday, Cook is a great option against a Clippers team that is playing at the eighth-fastest pace (103.5 possessions per game) in the league.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, LAC vs. GS
FanDuel = $5,000
DraftKings = $4,200

An ankle injury to Avery Bradley opened up a starting role for Gilgeous-Alexander and he’s played so well that he will likely hold onto it even once Bradley returns. Over three games as a member of the starting five, Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 13.7 points, four rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.3 three-pointers. Bradley is listed as questionable for Monday, but even if he returns, Gilgeous-Alexander could provide plenty of value at this price.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/12/18

Terrence Ross, ORL at WAS
FanDuel = $4,600
DraftKings = $5,100

The Magic have had their problems offensively, but Ross is averaging a career-high 13.2 points per contest. Even though he’s come off the bench for all 13 games, his 23.5 percent usage rate is third-highest on the team. His other contributions might not jump off the page at 2.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 steals per contest, but this is a great matchup against a Wizards team that is defensively challenged and plays at the seventh-fastest pace (103.9).

Wayne Ellington, MIA vs. PHI
FanDuel = $3,900
DraftKings = $3,800

The Heat have dealt with depth issues for most of the season and will be without James Johnson (sports hernia), Dwyane Wade (personal), and Dion Waiters (ankle) again Monday. Ellington battled foul troubles in a disappointing performance Friday against the Pacers, but he rebounded to score 16 points to go along with four rebounds, two assists, and one steal Saturday against the Wizards. Ellington is only someone to consider in tournament play, but he might be worth the risk at this price based on the Sixers playing at the sixth-fastest pace (103.9).

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/12/18

T.J. Warren, PHO at OKC
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $5,500

After starting out the season coming off of the bench for the Suns, Warren has started in four the last five games in which he has played. The change in role has resulted in a significant increase in value with Warren averaging 21.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and two three-pointers across those starts. His usage rate has remained the same as when he was coming off of the bench, but he’s averaging 12 more minutes a game as a starter. The last time he faced the Thunder this season, he scored 18 points to go along with eight rebounds in 22 minutes.

Jae Crowder, UTA at MEM
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $5,200

This may not exactly be a high-scoring affair between two good defensive teams. When they met earlier in the year, the Grizzlies won 110-100, although, Donovan Mitchell missed that game with an injury. Crowder had a strong performance with 18 points and six rebounds across 32 minutes off the bench. Even though he’s only started one game in the early going, that hasn’t stopped Crowder from averaging 30 minutes a night. With 14.7 points, 5.5 boards, and 2.3 three-pointers per contest, Crowder is a viable option again Monday.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/12/18

Taj Gibson, MIN vs. BKN
FanDuel = $5,300
DraftKings = $5,400

There are a few players who should see an increase in value due to Jimmy Butler being traded to the Sixers, but Gibson likely won’t be one of them. With Dario Saric coming to the Timberwolves in the deal, Gibson could be in line for a decrease in playing time and might even lose his starting job. Saric won’t play Monday, though, leaving Gibson with one last opportunity to provide increased value. Across the first 13 games, Gibson is averaging 11 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per contest.

Derrick Favors, UTA at MEM
FanDuel = $5,100
DraftKings = $4,300

Favors has started all 11 games he’s played in this season, but he’s only averaging 22 minutes per contest. That’s down considerably from 28 minutes a night last year, but he’s still managed to average 11.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks. He’s actually been very consistent of late, scoring at least 11 points and grabbing at least five boards in six straight games. At this cheap price, Favors is a viable target if you want to save money at power forward.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/12/18

Jarrett Allen, BKN at MIN
FanDuel = $5,900
DraftKings = $5,100

Allen is averaging 26 minutes a game this season, up from 20 a night last year. The Nets plan for him to be a big part of their future, so he should continue to have an expanded role. The added playing time has benefited him so far, averaging 11.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks. The Timberwolves have been one of the worst teams in the league at defending centers, making Allen a strong option to consider.

Mohamed Bamba, ORL at WAS
FanDuel = $4,300
DraftKings = $4,100

With Nikola Vucevic ahead of him, Bamba is only playing 19 minutes a game. Even in a limited role, Bamba is still averaging 7.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks. When these two teams met last week, Bamba posted 15 points, two rebounds, and two blocks. His scoring upside might be limited, but his ability to provide rebounds and blocks makes him worth considering at this price.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/6/18

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

The NBA doesn’t bring a ton of action Tuesday with just four games on the schedule. There aren’t as many viable cheap value plays, as a result, but let’s examine some that could be difference makers for the evening. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/6/18

Trae Young, ATL at CHA
FanDuel = $7,500
DraftKings = $7,300

Young certainly doesn’t come at a discount, but if you’re playing this limited slate on FanDuel, there aren’t a lot of great cheap options at point guard. Young is already getting plenty of scoring chances with his 27.9 percent usage rate, but he could be counted on for even more offense with Taurean Prince (ankle) listed as doubtful. Charlotte has allowed the seventh-most DraftKings points per game and the eighth-most FanDuel points per game to opposing point guards, making Young an excellent option for your entry.

Spencer Dinwiddie, BKN at PHO
FanDuel = $5,300
DraftKings = $4,800

With the Nets battling injuries at point guard last year, it allowed Dinwiddie to have a breakout campaign. Although he’s come off the bench in all 10 games this year with the Nets healthy, he’s still averaging 27 minutes a game. His assists are down at four per game, but his scoring has actually increased with 14.3 points and 2.3 three-pointers per contest. The Suns have struggled defensively yet again this season, leaving Dinwiddie as a viable option Tuesday, even in a reserve role.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/6/18

Kent Bazemore, ATL at CHA
FanDuel = $6,400
DraftKings = $5,900

Bazemore is another player on the Hawks who should see an increase in usage if Prince isn’t able to play. Bazemore’s 21.3 percent usage rate already ranks fourth-highest on the team, behind only Young, Prince, and Jeremy Lin. Add in his 4.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.6 steals per contest and Bazemore makes a lot of sense at this reasonable price.

Malik Monk, CHA vs. ATL
FanDuel = $4,600
DraftKings = $4,600

The Hornets have gone with the combination of Jeremy Lamb and Monk at shooting guard this season. Even though Lamb has started all 10 games, they both receive about the same amount of playing time. The 24 minutes a night for Monk has been a significant increase from last year, helping him average 13.4 points and 2.4 three-pointers per contest. If this game gets out of hand early, Monk could really excel in garbage time since the Hawks play at the fastest pace (108.3 possessions per game) in the league.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/6/18

DeAndre’ Bembry, ATL at CHA
FanDuel = $4,900
DraftKings = $4,300

Bembry could find his way into the starting five if Prince sits this one out. Even though Bembry is only averaging 25 minutes a game, he’s provided respectable all-around averages of 8.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.6 steals. His upside isn’t off the charts even with added playing time, but he’s still someone to consider at his cheap price on both sites.

Miles Bridges, CHA vs. ATL
FanDuel = $4,000
DraftKings = $3,600

On such a limited slate, sometimes taking a big risk in tournament play can provide a significant return. If this game turns into a blowout, some of the bench players for the Hornets could see a substantial boost in minutes. One of those players could be Bridges, who is averaging 13.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and two three-pointers across the three games in which he has played at least 20 minutes. There is certainly risk here, but taking a chance on the blowout isn’t entirely crazy based on the circumstances.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/6/18

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, BKN at PHO
FanDuel = $5,300
DraftKings = $4,800

Hollis-Jefferson missed the start of the season due to injury and hasn’t been able to regain his starting role since his return. He’s only averaging 22 minutes a game off the bench, putting a substantial cap on his upside. With that being said, it seems like it will only be a matter of time before he overtakes Jared Dudley in the starting lineup. After posting 21 points, six rebounds and three assists Sunday against the Sixers in 30 minutes, Hollis-Jefferson could get a few extra minutes again Tuesday.

Al-Farouq Aminu, POR vs. MIL
FanDuel = $5,100
DraftKings = $5,400

Aminu leaves a lot to be desired on the offensive end of the floor, averaging only eight points per game and shooting 38 percent from the field. He’s averaged at least 10 points per game in a season only one time in his career, so don’t expect him to go on a scoring binge anytime soon. Even taking that into consideration, you shouldn’t just avoid him when crafting your lineup. With 8.9 rebounds a contest, he’s at least a threat to approach a double-double on a nightly basis.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/6/18

Jarrett Allen, BKN at PHO
FanDuel = $6,700
DraftKings = $5,200

Allen showed signs of promise as a rookie last year. The Nets have upped him to 27 minutes a game through their first 10 contests, helping him average 11.7 points and 7.7 rebounds. He’s been extremely efficient from the field with a 61.3 percent shooting percentage and contributes on the defensive end with 1.9 blocks per contest. Suns top pick Deandre Ayton might get all the headlines at center in this game, but Allen is also a worthy candidate in DFS.

Willy Hernangomez, CHA vs. ATL
FanDuel = $4,200
DraftKings = $3,500

If you want to go all-in on the theory that the Hornets blow out the Hawks, Hernangomez is another player with upside. He’s been limited to 15 minutes a game off the bench, but that hasn’t stopped him from recording seven points and 5.4 rebounds per contest. In the one game in which he played at least 20 minutes this year, he finished with 11 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Again, there is risk planning on a blowout score, but it could be one that pays off with Hernangomez.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/2/18

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

The NBA has plenty of action to start off your weekend with eight games on the schedule Friday night. That gives us a lot of DFS value plays to wade through, so let’s get right down to business. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/2/18

Elie Okobo, PHO vs. TOR
FanDuel = $4,100
DraftKings = $4,300

The Suns entered the season with a significant hole at point guard. Isaiah Canaan has been a member of the starting five with shooting guard Devin Booker also taking on more of a facilitating role. However, both of them are injured and listed as questionable for Friday. Okobo has logged at least 28 minutes in both of the last two games as a result of their injuries. His production hasn’t been off the charts, but he’s averaged 13 points, 4.5 rebounds, six assists, and 1.5 three-pointers during that stretch. If Booker and/or Canaan are forced to sit again Friday, Okobo is worth considering in tournament play.

Dante Exum, UTA vs. MEM
FanDuel = $3,800
DraftKings = $3,700

The Jazz will be without Donovan Mitchell (hamstring) in this game, leaving a huge void in their offense. It will likely take a group effort to make up for his absence, especially considering his 29.4 percent usage rate. Exum has already been averaging 19 minutes a game for the Jazz, but he could be one of the players who sees a few more minutes, and shots, Friday. Exum has averaged 13.5 points, four rebounds, 3.5 assists and one three-pointer across the two games in which he has played at least 20 minutes this year, leaving him with some upside at near the minimum price on both sites.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/2/18

Justin Holiday, CHI vs. IND
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $4,600

The Bulls have a laundry-list of injuries right now with Lauri Markkanen (elbow), Kris Dunn (knee) and Bobby Portis (knee) all on the shelf. They are clearly a rebuilding team, but they’ve been forced to play Holiday more due to their lack of depth. His upside isn’t tremendously high, but Holiday is averaging a respectable 11.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.4 steals and 2.8 three-pointers per contest. Although he doesn’t come at a huge discount on FanDuel, his DraftKings price is appealing.

Eric Gordon, HOU at BKN
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $5,900

James Harden (hamstring) appears to be nearing a return, but he’s not expected to take the floor against the Nets. In the first two games that Harden has missed, Gordon averaged 16 shot attempts. While he only made seven total shots, the added volume gives him plenty of scoring potential. If he can correct his shooting woes in this contest, he could be an asset at this price. Keep him out of cash contests, but he might be worth a look in tournament play.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/2/18

Tyreke Evans, IND at CHI
FanDuel = $5,200
DraftKings = $4,900

Evans was thrust into a significant role for the Grizzlies last year when Mike Conley was lost for the season, resulting in Evans averaging 31 minutes a game. The Pacers are a much deeper team, so it’s not all that surprising that he’s only averaged 20 minutes a game so far. Even with limited time of the floor, Evans is still averaging 10.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, three assists, and 1.3 three-pointers. The Bulls are one of the worst defensive teams in the league, which should give a bump to Evans and just about everyone else on the Pacers’ roster. If this game also gets out of hand early, Evans could see some extra garbage time minutes.

Kelly Oubre Jr., WAS vs. OKC
FanDuel = $4,300
DraftKings = $4,800

The Wizards are a disappointing 1-6, but they’ve also dealt with their share of injury issues. Oubre has been one of their few bright spots, averaging 14.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and two three-pointers a game. It’s not as if he’s seen a huge jump in playing time, either, with his 27 minutes a night on par with his average from last season. The Wizards should be getting Dwight Howard (back) and Markieff Morris (concussion) back Friday, but Oubre is still going to be a significant part of their second unit.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/2/18

Noah Vonleh, NY at DAL
FanDuel = $5,700
DraftKings = $4,800

It’s no surprise that the Knicks are 2-6 with Kristaps Porzingis still recovering from a torn ACL. What is surprising is that they have been bringing one of their better players in Enes Kanter off the bench lately. Vonleh has been moved into the starting five, as a result, averaging 9.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.7 blocks in that role. With no signs that the Knicks will make a change back to Kanter for this contest, Vonleh will continue to have added value.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, BKN vs. HOU
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $4,900

Hollis-Jefferson has come off the bench in all five games since returning from injury, but you have to wonder how much longer the Nets will continue to have him in that role while Jared Dudley starts. Even though Hollis-Jefferson has only averaged 21 minutes, he’s been able to record 8.6 points, six rebounds, 0.6 steals, and 0.8 blocks per contest. With the Rockets playing at a fast pace and using a lot of small lineups, this has the potential to be Hollis-Jefferson’s best performance of the year if he can get a few extra minutes.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/2/18

Steven Adams, OKC at WAS
FanDuel = $7,500
DraftKings = $7,100

If you are playing on FanDuel, there aren’t a lot of great cheap center options. As a result, this might be one of the positions to pay up for. Adams isn’t overly expensive, but he has a high floor with averages of 13.2 points, 11.8 rebounds, 1.8 steals, and 1.3 blocks. The Thunder did add some depth at center with Nerlens Noel, but Adams is still logging 35 minutes a game. The Thunder and Wizards are both in the top-six in the league in pace of play, which could leave Adams with even more opportunities to stuff the stat sheet.

Jonas Valanciunas, TOR at PHO
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $5,300

Valanciunas’ role continues to fluctuate based on matchups. The Suns have a promising big man in Deandre Ayton, so look for Valanciunas to be in the starting lineup for the Raptors. When he starts, he has averaged 13 points, nine rebounds, and 1.7 assists per contest. The Suns have allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing centers, making Valanciunas someone to key in on if you are looking for some budget relief at center.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/31/18

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

It’s been a busy week in the NBA and Wednesday doesn’t get any quieter with seven games on the schedule. There are a couple of games that have blowout potential, but it should be a fun evening, overall. Let’s take a look at some cheap value plays that could pay off for your entry. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/31/18

Frank Ntilikina, NY vs. IND
FanDuel = $5,100
DraftKings = $4,100

Ntilikina’s numbers haven’t been great, averaging 9.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.7 three-pointers per game. The good news is that he’s averaging 30 minutes a contest and has scored at least 16 points in both of his last two games. With the Knicks searching for offense without Kristaps Porzingis (knee), Ntilikina could continue to get added scoring opportunities Wednesday. His ceiling isn’t very high, but he’s still a viable option at this price.

Elie Okobo, PHO vs. SA
FanDuel = $3,500
DraftKings = $3,700

The Suns were already without Devin Booker (hamstring) on Sunday against the Thunder, but then Isaiah Canaan (ankle) went down in the first quarter. The Suns entered the year thin at point guard, so they had no choice but to turn to Okobo. He certainly didn’t disappoint, scoring 18 points go to along with five rebounds and seven assists across 31 minutes. Booker is considered doubtful to play Wednesday and Canaan is listed as questionable, so if they are both sidelined, Okobo is someone to consider adding to your entry.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/31/18

Wesley Matthews, DAL at LAL
FanDuel = $4,900
DraftKings = $5,000

This could be a good game to load up on Mavericks players with the Lakers playing at the fourth-fastest pace (106.4 possessions per game) and allowing the most points per game (122.4) in the league. Matthews is second on the team with 18.3 points per game, making him one of the options that stand out. Don’t count on him for significant contributions in other areas, but that doesn’t mean that Matthews won’t score enough to provide value at this price.

Monte Morris, DEN at CHI
FanDuel = $4,600
DraftKings = $4,300

The Bulls are a trainwreck on defense. Not only did Klay Thompson and the Warriors embarrass them by scoring 149 points Monday, but the Bulls have allowed the third-most points per game (119.9), overall. While the Nuggets aren’t as good as the Warriors, they are still one of the better teams in the NBA. If this game gets out of hand early, their bench players could get significant playing time. Morris would be one player likely to benefit if that were to happen. In the three games in which Morris has played at least 20 minutes this year, he’s averaging 11.8 points, three rebounds, five assists, and 1.8 steals.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/31/18

Harrison Barnes, DAL at LAL
FanDuel = $5,900
DraftKings = $5,500

Barnes missed some time at the beginning of the season due to injury but he’s logged at least 34 minutes in both of his last two games. He was impressive Monday against the Spurs, scoring 18 points to go along with seven rebounds and a steal. The Mavericks made significant additions over the summer by bringing in Luka Doncic and DeAndre Jordan, but Barnes is still an important part of the team. If he keeps playing well, he won’t be this cheap for much longer.

Jae Crowder, UTA at MIN
FanDuel = $4,900
DraftKings = $5,200

Derrick Favors (knee) didn’t play Sunday against the Mavericks and is listed as questionable for Wednesday. Crowder started in his absence, scoring 15 points to go along with six rebounds and one steal in 35 minutes. Although Crowder is dealing with an ankle injury, he’s deemed as probable to play in this game. If Favors can’t take the floor, Crowder should again get plenty of playing time. Even if Favors does play, Crowder is a key part of the Jazz’s second unit and worth considering if you want to save money at small forward.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/31/18

Noah Vonleh, NY vs. IND
FanDuel = $5,300
DraftKings = $4,300

Enes Kanter got off to a great start with a double-double in each of the Knicks first four games. However, after a bad performance in a blowout loss to the Heat, the Knicks moved Kanter to the bench and Vonleh into the starting five. While he hasn’t been as productive as Kanter, Vonleh still averaged a respectable 7.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, three assists, 1.5 steals and one block across those two games. If he starts again Wednesday, there’s no reason to doubt he can’t provide similar numbers.

Trey Lyles, DEN at CHI
FanDuel = $4,400
DraftKings = $4,300

The injury to Will Barton (groin) has resulted in Lyles logging at least 20 minutes in four straight games. Although he hasn’t been overly productive, Lyles still managed to average 11.5 points, 3.5 rebounds. 2.5 assists and 1.3 steals during that stretch. He would also likely be in line for added playing time if this game gets out of hand early, so don’t sleep on him in tournament play.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/31/18

Myles Turner, IND at NY
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $5,900

Turner seems to be a trendy breakout candidate just about every year, but he hasn’t come through, at this point. The Pacers have depth up front, which has limited Turner to averaging 27 minutes per contest. That puts a cap on his ceiling for points and rebounds, but he’s still recording 2.1 blocks per game. With the Knicks struggling to start the year and still trying to figure out their best rotations, this might be a matchup to exploit, even with Turner’s limited playing time.

Ed Davis, BKN vs. DET
FanDuel = $3,800
DraftKings = $3,600

The Pistons certainly have plenty of size up front with Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin. When the Nets first faced the Pistons this year, they countered by playing Davis for 18 minutes off the bench. Davis produced eight points and seven rebounds in what turned out to be a close contest. Davis has proven he can rack up rebounds throughout his career, averaging 6.5 rebounds in just 21 minutes per contest. At near the minimum price on both sites, Davis is an intriguing option to consider.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/17/18

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

Wednesday brings the first full day of NBA action with 11 games on the schedule. Let’s examine some cheaper value plays who could help lead you to a winning entry. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/17/18

Trey Burke, NY vs. ATL
FanDuel = $4,900
DraftKings = $5,600

Burke’s tenure with the Knicks last season was a pleasant surprise, posting 12.8 points, 4.7 assists and 1.1 three-pointers per game. He also shot a staggering 50.3% from the field, but expect that to drop this season based on his 40.4% shooting percentage for his career. The Knicks named him their starting point guard for opening night and they’ll be searching for scoring with Kristaps Porzingis still recovering from a torn ACL. Burke had a 25.1% usage rate last year and could start of the season on a high note.

Patty Mills, SA vs. MIN
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,600

The Spurs have been decimated at point guard. First, Dejounte Murray was lost for the season with a torn ACL. Then, Derrick White went down with a heel injury. Rookie Lonnie Walker IV is also injured and Tony Parker is now in Charlotte, leaving Mills with the potential for significant playing time. Last season, Mills averaged 12.5 points, 3.4 assists and 2.3 three-pointers across 19 games in which he logged at least 30 minutes. His upside isn’t off the charts, but he’s cheap enough to be worth considering for your entry.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/17/18

Caris LeVert, BKN at DET
FanDuel = $6,000
DraftKings = $5,800

The Nets are dealing with their own injury concerns with Allen Crabbe, DeMarre Carroll and Shabazz Napier all ruled out for Wednesday. To make matters worse, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is questionable with a hip injury. Even if Hollis-Jefferson does play, the door is open for LeVert to get extended run. Over nine games in which LeVert logged at least 30 minutes last year, he averaged 15.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, and six assists.

Jeremy Lamb, CHA vs. MIL
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $5,700

The Hornets dealt away Dwight Howard over the summer, which left a significant hole in their offense since he had the third-highest usage rate (24.2%) on the team last year. Although he doesn’t play Howard’s position, Lamb will be one of the players tasked with filling the scoring void created by his departure. Lamb will also move into the starting lineup this year, which is great news considering he averaged 15.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.6 three-pointers across 18 starts last year.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/17/18

Tauren Prince, ATL at NY
FanDuel = $6,000
DraftKings = $6,100

This matchup between the Hawks and the Knicks might be one of the least exciting ones on the slate. These are both two bad teams working their way through a rebuilding process. Neither team has a lot of potent scorers, but don’t overlook Prince’s potential. He came on strong after the All-Star break last year, averaging 19 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 3.2 three-pointers across 23 games.

Jonathan Isaac, ORL vs. MIA
FanDuel = $5,700
DraftKings = $5,000

The sixth pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, Isaac was limited to 27 games last year due to injury. Although he only averaged 20 minutes per contest, he showed his incredible defensive upside by averaging 1.2 steals and 1.1 blocks. He still has a ways to go offensively, evident by the fact that he shot 37.9% from the field last year. With that being said, he could do enough defensively and on the boards in this game to warrant consideration.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/17/18

Kelly Olynyk, MIA at ORL
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $6,100

The Heat are dealing with plenty of injuries Wednesday with Justise Winslow, James Johnson, Wayne Ellington and Dion Waiters all listed as either doubtful or out. The Magic have a talented frontcourt made up of Nikola Vucevic, Aaron Gordon, Mohamed Bamba, and Isaac, so the Heat are likely going to rely heavily on Olynyk in this game. In 12 games in which Olynyk logged at least 30 minutes last year, he averaged 16.8 points, eight rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.7 steals.

P.J. Tucker, HOU vs. NO
FanDuel = $4,100
DraftKings = $3,900

The Rockets roster has a lot of big names, including James Harden, Chris Paul, and Carmelo Anthony. One player who doesn’t always get the credit that he deserves is Tucker, whose ability to defend multiple positions and shoot three’s goes a long way towards helping them be successful. He’s expected to open the season as a member of the starting five with Anthony and Eric Gordon set to come off the bench. The Rockets will also be somewhat shorthanded up front with Marquese Chriss out with an ankle injury. Tucker might not score a ton of points, but he could provide enough in other areas to be an option at near the minimum price.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/17/18

Jarrett Allen, BKN at DET
FanDuel = $5,600
DraftKings = $5,700

The Nets need Allen to make significant improvements this season. They were one of the worst teams in the league at defending opposing centers last year despite Allen averaging 1.2 blocks in only 20 minutes per game. With Ed Davis and Kenneth Faried as his backups, expect Allen to see more playing time if he can stay out of foul trouble. Facing Andre Drummond is no easy task, but the potential for increased playing time certainly works in Allen’s favor.

Alex Len, ATL at NY
FanDuel = $5,100
DraftKings = $5,600

The Hawks are the walking wounded up front. Not only will they be without one of the keys to their future in John Collins, but Dewayne Dedmon will also sit out Wednesday. The door is open for Len to log plenty of minutes after seeing inconsistent playing time with the Suns last year. Len shined when given an opportunity, averaging 17.3 points, 11.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks over three games in which he played at least 30 minutes.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 4/11/18

Frank Ntilikina, NY at CLE
FanDuel = $4,700
DraftKings = $4,300

Ntilikina has started to see more playing time, logging at least 30 minutes in three straight games. With Emmanuel Mudiay (concussion) already ruled out for Wednesday, expect Ntilikina to see added playing time once again. He just scored 17 points to go along with six rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block against these same Cavaliers on Monday and has upside again in their rematch.

Tomas Satoransky, WAS at ORL
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $5,700

Satoransky has returned to a role with the second unit now that John Wall is healthy, but Wall is unlikely to play Wednesday after logging 36 minutes against the Celtics on Tuesday. Satoransky has done a great job as a member of the starting five this year, averaging 10.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.1 steals and one three-pointer in 29 games. The Magic allow the second-most points per game on both FanDuel and DraftKings to opposing point guards, leaving Satoransky as a viable option for your entry.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 4/11/18

Luke Kennard, DET at CHI
FanDuel = $6,100
DraftKings = $4,300

Kennard has moved into the starting lineup with Reggie Bullock (knee) out for the season, averaging 19 points, five rebounds, three assists, 1.5 steals and 3.5 three-pointers in his last two games. The Bulls are tanking hard down the stretch and have struggled to defend the three-point line all season, allowing the eighth-highest three-pointing shooting percentage to opponents (36.9%) in the league. He’s not overly cheap on FanDuel, but he has a great price on DraftKings that you should try to take advantage of.

Sean Kilpatrick, CHI vs. DET
FanDuel = $5,100
DraftKings = $5,100

The Bulls are without many of their primary scorers, which has led Kilpatrick to score at least 16 points in four straight games. He’s getting plenty of looks, attempting at least 13 shots in all four of those contests. He doesn’t provide much in the way of rebounds or assists, but his ability to score and hit shots from behind the arc still leaves him with value, especially on a night with so many uncertain rotations.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 4/11/18

Allen Crabbe, BKN at BOS
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $6,200

Crabbe destroyed the Bulls on Monday, hitting eight three-pointers on his way to 41 points. DeMarre Carroll (hip), Caris LeVert (foot) and Joe Harris (ankle) all missed that game, leaving Crabbe to play 34 minutes. LeVert will return Wednesday, but the Nets will again be without Carroll and Harris. The Celtics are certainly a much tougher opponent than the Bulls, but the added minutes that Crabbe will likely see again Wednesday make him someone to consider for your entry.

Kelly Oubre Jr., WAS at ORL
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $5,200

Not only will the Wizards likely be without Wall on Wednesday, but Otto Porter Jr. (calf) is also listed as doubtful after injuring himself Tuesday. Look for Oubre to move into the starting lineup and see an increased role in the offense as a result. He has played at least 30 minutes in a game 28 times this season, averaging 13.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.9 three-pointers per contest. Expect him to at least approach that minutes threshold Wednesday.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 4/11/18

Ivan Rabb, MEM at OKC
FanDuel = $5,700
DraftKings = $5,200

The Grizzlies won’t have many available players again Wednesday with frontcourt options including Marc Gasol (rest) and JaMychal Green (knee) already ruled out. Rabb has played at least 27 minutes in three of the last four games with the Grizzlies in full tank mode, averaging 14 points, 8.7 rebounds, and one block. His upside isn’t off the charts against a tough Thunder defense, but he could still finish with a double-double based on the amount of playing time he will likely receive.

Anthony Tolliver, DET at CHI
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $6,000

Tolliver has seen significant action as the season comes to a close with Blake Griffin (knee) out, logging at least 31 minutes in seven straight games. He hasn’t let the opportunity go to waste, averaging 16.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.6 three-pointers per contest. He torched the Bulls for 25 points, six rebounds and six three-pointers in a blowout win a few weeks ago, so don’t be surprised if he excels again Wednesday.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 4/11/18

Greg Monroe, BOS vs. BKN
FanDuel = $6,000
DraftKings = $6,600

The Celtics have already clinched the second seed in the East and will be playing the second night of a back-to-back, so don’t be surprised if they rest or limit the minutes of some of their starters Wednesday. Monroe’s 24.8% usage rate is the highest on the Celtics now that Kyrie Irving (knee) is out for the season, so increased playing time could give him a significant boost in value. The Nets also allow the most points per game on both FanDuel and DraftKings to opposing centers.

Cristiano Felicio, CHI vs. DET
FanDuel = $4,600
DraftKings = $4,600

How bad are the Bulls trying to lose games? Not only is Felicio getting extended playing time, but Omer Asik has even played in three straight games. Felicio is clearly the better option between the two in DFS, averaging 8.3 points, 9.5 rebounds and one block in his last six games. The Pistons likely won’t have Andre Drummond (Achilles) on Wednesday either, making things a little easier for Felicio in the middle. His offensive ability is limited, but he could at least approach a double-double in what could be an ugly game to watch.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 4/5/18

Thursday brings six games in the NBA that will be loaded with playoff implications. Not many of the tanking teams will be in action, which might leave fewer value plays than we are accustomed to of late. It’s key to find the right cheap daily fantasy basketball sleepers to hopefully help create a winning entry. Sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and find the value players that are low-owned on FanDuel and DraftKings like Shabazz Napier and John Henson.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 4/5/18

Tyus Jones, MIN at DEN
FanDuel = #3,800
DraftKings = $5,000

Jeff Teague (knee) is listed as questionable for Thursday after missing Sunday’s game against the Jazz. Jones started in his place and played well, scoring 15 points to go along with four assists, four steals, and two three-pointers. The Nuggets allow the fifth-most points per game on both FanDuel and DraftKings to opposing point guards, making Jones a viable option for your entry if Teague is ruled out again.

Shabazz Napier, POR at HOU
FanDuel = $3,600
DraftKings = $5,300

The Blazers look poised to be the third seed in the West, leaving them with little to play for at this point in the season. Damian Lillard (ankle) is not likely to play Thursday as a result, which should move Napier into the starting five. Napier has played well in nine starts this season, averaging 15.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.7 three-pointers per contest. His price is especially appealing on FanDuel, but he can provide value on both sites based on his likely expanded role.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 4/5/18

Andrew Wiggins, MIN at DEN
FanDuel = $6,400
DraftKings = $6,700

The Timberwolves are clinging to one of the final playoff spots in the Western Conference and might be getting reinforcements soon with Jimmy Butler (knee) closing in on a return. He’s listed as doubtful for Thursday, so expect Wiggins to continue to have an expanded offensive role against the Nuggets. With Butler sidelined for the entire month of March, Wiggins averaged 18.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.5 three-pointers and 1.2 steals per contest.

Caris LeVert, BKN at MIL
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $5,500

The Nets don’t own their first-round pick in the 2018 draft, leaving them as one of the few bad teams in the league with no incentive to tank down the stretch. They have continued with their normal rotations as a result but will be without DeMarre Carroll (hip) on Thursday. Carroll is averaging 30 minutes per game this season, so that should open up added playing time a few Nets players, LeVert being one of them. In nine games that LeVert has played at least 30 minutes this season, he is averaging 15.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, six assists and 1.7 steals. Don’t be surprised if he at least approaches that minutes threshold Thursday.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 4/5/18

Bojan Bogdanovic, IND vs. GS
FanDuel = $4,900
DraftKings = NA

Bogdanovic is a streaky shooter, but he has scored at least 15 points in five of his last six games. He attempted at least 11 shots in all six of those contests, so he will likely continue to have a significant role as the regular season comes to a close. The Warriors play at the fifth-fastest pace (101.9 possessions per game) in the league, which could leave Bogdanovic with a few extra shot attempts Thursday. Of note, this game is not included in the main or late slates on DraftKings, but Bogdanovic is still someone to target on FanDuel.

Joe Harris, BKN at MIL
FanDuel = $3,900
DraftKings = $4,400

Harris has provided an offensive spark for the Nets lately, scoring at least 13 points in five straight games. He played at least 27 minutes in four of those five contests and should be in line for added playing Thursday as well with Carroll sidelined. He doesn’t provide much in the way of rebounds or assists, but the potential for added shot attempts makes him someone to consider at this cheap price.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 4/5/18

John Henson, MIL vs. BKN
FanDuel = $5,600
DraftKings = $5,000

Henson has provided solid value down the stretch, averaging 8.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, three assists and 1.9 blocks in his last seven games. The Bucks don’t have much depth up front, leaving Henson to play at least 27 minutes in five of those seven contests. He’s listed at power forwards on FanDuel, but he actually plays center, which is where he is listed on DraftKings. The Nets allow the most points per game on both FanDuel and DraftKings to opposing centers, making Henson a viable option for your entry.

Al-Farouq Aminu, POR at HOU
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $5,600

Lillard, C.J. McCollum, and Jusuf Nurkic might be the main scoring options for the Blazers, but Aminu is also a very important part of their team. He had one of his best months of the season in March, averaging 9.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.7 three-pointers per contest. He has three double-doubles in his last five games and could be in line for heavy playing time Thursday against a Rockets team that likes to use a lot of small lineups. His scoring upside isn’t that high, but he can provide enough production in several categories to still leave him with value.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 4/5/18

Jarrett Allen, BKN at MIL
FanDuel = $5,000
DraftKings = $4,500

Allen is not a consistent option by any means, but that’s why he’s priced this low. Although he has scored at least 12 points in four of his last six games, he scored five points or fewer in both of the other two contests. He is a valuable source of defensive starts though, averaging 2.3 blocks over his last 10 games. The Bucks allow the third most points per game on both FanDuel and DraftKings to opposing centers, making Allen someone to at least consider Thursday.

Tyler Zeller, MIL vs. BKN
FanDuel = $3,700
DraftKings = $3,600

Cheap centers with upside are hard to come by Thursday, especially if you are playing on FanDuel. Zeller makes his way into tournament play consideration, as a result, averaging eight points, 6.2 rebounds and one steal in his last five games. With the Nets struggles to defend centers already detailed, Zeller does have some upside at near the minimum price on both sites.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/21/18

There are eight games in the NBA on Wednesday but injuries to star players continue to add up throughout the league. It’s key to find the right cheap daily fantasy basketball sleepers, as a result, to hopefully help create a winning entry. Sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and find the value players that are low-owned on FanDuel and DraftKings like Cameron Payne and Devin Harris.

Use Code “LAB60” at checkout for 60% off Seasonal Package<

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/21/18

Cameron Payne, CHI vs. DEN
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $5,300

The Bulls will be thin at point guard again Wednesday with Kris Dunn (toe) out. Zach LaVine (knee) and Lauri Markkanen (back) are also listed as doubtful, which could leave the Bulls without arguably their three best players. Payne has started and played at least 29 minutes in both of the last two games with Dunn sidelined, averaging 8.5 points, four rebounds, eight assists and 1.5 three-pointers. The Nuggets allow the fifth-most points per game on both FanDuel and DraftKings to opposing point guards, making Payne someone to strongly consider for your lineup.

Antonio Blakeney, CHI vs. DEN
FanDuel = $4,000
DraftKings = $3,900

Blakeney is instant offense, posting a 24.3% usage rate in 18 games with the Bulls this season. He’s played at least 25 minutes in each of the Bulls last three games due to their injuries, scoring at least 10 points in all three contests. He was especially involved in their last two games, attempting 26 total shots. With the Bulls likely desperate for offense Wednesday, Blakeney is a viable option at this cheap price.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/21/18

Devin Harris, DEN at CHI
FanDuel = $4,100
DraftKings = $3,800

The Nuggets will be without Gary Harris (knee) on Wednesday, opening up some minutes in their backcourt. Although Will Barton started in place of Gary on Monday, Devin Harris played 27 minutes, finishing with 13 points, two rebounds, nine assists and one three-pointer. Devin has actually scored at least 10 points in five of his last six games, which might not be that hard to do against the struggling Bulls with added minutes. His upside isn’t high, but he can still provide value.

Malik Monk, CHA at BKN
FanDuel = $3,900
DraftKings = $3,500

The Hornets have their own injury issues with Michael Carter-Williams (shoulder) out for the season and Nicolas Batum (Achilles) doubtful Wednesday. Monk is starting to see increased playing time, averaging 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and three three-pointers in his last two games. Both the Hornets and Nets are in the top nine in the league in pace of play, so Monk could have value with added opportunities to produce possibly on tap.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/21/18

DeMarre Carroll, BKN vs. CHA
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $5,900

Carroll is having his best month of the season in March, averaging 16.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, one steal and 2.8 three-pointers in nine games. He continues to see plenty of playing time, averaging 31 minutes per contest this month. He played well in his last meeting against the Hornets earlier this month, finishing with 15 points, five rebounds, three assists, three steals, one block, and two-three-pointers. Although this isn’t an exciting matchup between two bad teams, Carroll is someone to strongly consider for your entry.

E’Twaun Moore, NO vs. IND
FanDuel = $4,400
DraftKings = $4,300

Moore might not be a flashy option, but he is averaging 11.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.5 three-pointers in his last six games. He played at least 28 minutes in each contest, which goes a long way to giving him value since the Pelicans play at the third-fastest pace (102.4 possessions per game) in the league. Jrue Holiday (illness) didn’t play Tuesday and his status is uncertain for Wednesday as well, which could open up an even greater role in the offense for Moore. Even if Holiday does take the floor, Moore’s normal allotment of playing time still makes him a viable option at this price.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/21/18

Kelly Olynyk, MIA vs. NY
FanDuel = $6,000
DraftKings = $6,300

The Heat will be without their main man in the middle again Wednesday with Hassan Whiteside (hip) set to his miss his sixth straight game. Olynyk didn’t start any of the first five games that Whiteside was sidelined, but he did average 16.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, four assists, 1.2 steals, 1.8 blocks and two three-pointers per contest. He gets to face a struggling Knicks team that has allowed an average of 113.9 points in their last ten games, so don’t be surprised if he has another big performance.

Noah Vonleh, CHI vs. DEN
FanDuel = $4,000
DraftKings = $4,100

The Bulls already wanted to give Vonleh an extended look before they started to suffer all of their injuries, so he’s primed for extended playing time again Wednesday. He has logged at least 26 minutes in three straight games, averaging eight points, 9.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists. He shot a combined 10-for-31 (32.2%) from the field, so his scoring average could have been higher if a few extra shots fell his way. The price is right to take a chance on him in tournament play.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/21/18

Kyle O’Quinn, NY at MIA
FanDuel = $5,300
DraftKings = $4,700

With nothing left to play for but a high draft pick, Knicks starting center Enes Kanter has logged 24 minutes or fewer in each of his last five games. O’Quinn continues to see consistent playing time off the bench, logging at least 21 minutes in four of his last five contests. He’s not always a reliable source of offense, but O’Quinn averaged 8.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.8 blocks in that five-game stretch. With the Heat missing their best rebounder in Whiteside, O’Quinn is someone to consider for your lineup.

Bam Adebayo, MIA vs. NY
FanDuel = $4,300
DraftKings = $4,900

Adebayo has started the last five games with Whiteside out, averaging 6.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists. He only shot 11-for-38 (28.9%) from the field in the last four games, but it shows he’s been involved offensively despite his low scoring average. Olynyk certainly has the higher upside out of the two players helping fill in for Whiteside, but that doesn’t mean you should ignore Adebayo if you want to save money at center Wednesday.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/8/18

There are only five games in the NBA on Thursday, leaving limited options to choose from in daily fantasy basketball. There will be some elite players in action, but it’s key to find the right cheap sleepers to hopefully help create a winning entry. Sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and find the value players that are low-owned on FanDuel and DraftKings like Rudy Gay and Jarrett Allen.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/8/18

Tyler Johnson, MIA vs. PHI
FanDuel = $5,200
DraftKings = $5,200

Johnson has provided an offensive spark for the Heat lately, scoring at least 16 points in three of his last four games. He was efficient from the field during those three contests, shooting a combined 20-for-37 (54.1%). Johnson has had some success in three previous meetings with the Sixers this season, averaging 12.3 points, 1.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.3 three-pointers. The expected return of Wayne Ellington (quad) on Thursday adds further depth to the Heat, but Johnson should still get enough playing time to warrant consideration for your entry.

Raymond Felton, OKC vs. PHO
FanDuel = $3,600
DraftKings = $3,400

Felton played just nine minutes in a close game between these same two teams last week, but still scored five points and dished out four assists. Considering the Suns play at the fourth-fastest pace (102.5 possessions per game) and allow the most points per game (113.3) in the league, it’s not surprising that Felton put up those numbers in such limited minutes. If he gets more minutes Thursday, there is a good chance he provides value at this price.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/8/18

Dwayne Wade, MIA vs. PHI
FanDuel = $5,100
DraftKings = $5,400

Wade has stepped up offensively lately, scoring at least 22 points in three of his last five games. Although he’s coming off the bench and playing limited minutes still, Wade has a 31.6% usage rate with the Heat compared to a 24.3% usage rate during his time in Cleveland. He lit up the Sixers for 27 points in their last meeting, making him a viable option at a reasonable price again Thursday.

Malik Monk, CHA vs. BKN
FanDuel = $3,500
DraftKings = $3,000

Monk played 16 minutes in the Hornets last game Tuesday, scoring nine points to go along with two rebounds, two assists, and one steal. Michael Carter-Williams (shoulder) did not play in that contest and will be out Thursday, which should mean more minutes for Monk once again. The Nets play at the seventh-fastest pace (101) and allow the third-most points per game (110) in the league, leaving Monk with a promising matchup. His ceiling is not high by any means, but he could be worth the risk in tournament considering how little he will impact your budget.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/8/18

DeMarre Carroll, BKN at CHA
FanDuel = $6,300
DraftKings = $5,900

Carroll is off to a great start in March, averaging 20.3 points, eight rebounds, 2.3 assists, one steal and 3.7 three-pointers through three contests. He’s had a resurgent season in general for the Nets and since they don’t own their first round pick next year, he should still get plenty of minutes despite their poor record. Even if he can’t keep up with his recent offensive pace Thursday, he can still provide enough production across the board to justify this price.

Rudy Gay, SA at GS
FanDuel = $4,300
DraftKings = $5,600

Gay injured his eardrum Monday against the Grizzlies but is expected to play Thursday against the Warriors. He was off to a great start in that game before suffering the injury, scoring seven points and grabbing four rebounds in just 14 minutes. He had played at least 24 minutes in both of his previous two contests, averaging 17 points, 6.5 rebounds, and two blocks. The Warriors like to use a lot of small lineups and play at the second-fastest pace (102.6) in the league, making Gay an excellent option Thursday. His price is reasonable on DraftKings, but it’s really low on FanDuel, making him an even better option if you are playing on that site.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/8/18

Marcus Morris, BOS at MIN
FanDuel = $4,900
DraftKings = $5,400

Morris is only averaging 25 minutes per game in his first season with the Celtics, but he has logged at least 30 minutes in four of his last seven games. The added playing time is significant for his value because his 22.2% usage rate is third-highest on the team. The Timberwolves have not played well defensively of late, allowing an average of 112.1 points over their last seven games. If Morris can get extra minutes again in this contest, look for him to take advantage of their struggles.

Davis Bertans, SA at GS
FanDuel = $4,400
DraftKings = $4,600

The Spurs will be shorthanded up front Thursday with Pau Gasol (shoulder) sidelined. While Joffrey Lauvergne could also see some added playing time, this is not a great matchup for him considering the small lineups the Warriors like to deploy. Their style of play is better suited for Bertans’ skillset, so don’t be surprised if he sees more action than Lauvergne. If you want to go really cheap at power forward, Bertans could be worth the risk in tournament play.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/8/18

Jarrett Allen, BKN at CHA
FanDuel = $4,900
DraftKings = $4,600

Don’t panic over Allen’s last two bad games. One of them came against a good defender in DeAndre Jordan and the other was a bad matchup against the Warriors. He had averaged 13 points, eight rebounds and 1.4 blocks in his five previous games. One of those contests was against these same Hornets when he finished with nine points, seven rebounds, two blocks and one steal. The Nets are going to need him to battle with Dwight Howard on Thursday and I expect him to fair much better than he has in his last two games.

Greg Monroe, BOS at MIN
FanDuel = $4,400
DraftKings = $4,400

Monroe is starting to find his groove with his new team, averaging 14 points, 6.3 rebounds and one block in his last three games. He didn’t play more than 21 minutes in any of those contests, but his 23.1% usage rate since joining the Celtics is already the second-highest on the team. He could see added playing time against a big Timberwolves frontcourt Thursday, making him a viable option for your entry.

Tonight is a perfect night to create a mid-tiered salary lineup that our friend Mike Ferrara Jr. is so fond of in our Facebook Group. He even gives you pointers on how to use our tools to create a solid lineup. If you need any help in fantasy or just want to come join in on the fun we highly recommend requesting a join. Sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and find the value players that are low-owned on FanDuel and DraftKings like DeMarre Carroll and Nemanja Bjelica.

Point Guards

Daily Fantasy Basketball NBA Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/01/18

Jeff Teague, vs. Trail Blazers (FD: $7,700, DK: $7,200)
Projected Points: FD: 28.49, DK: 28.93

Over his last five starts Teague has been en feugo. Putting up 21.6 points per game, 6.4 assists, getting the heavy minutes (35), all of this while averaging 40 fantasy points per game. At this price point, with this floor (~32.5), I just don’t see why you wouldn’t have him locked in your DraftKings cash lineup.

De’Aaron Fox, vs. Nets (FD: $5800, DK: $5600)
Projected Points: FD: 28.42, DK: 28.81

If you can’t afford Lillard as the stud of the night then look no further than Fox. Fox is on the uptick every since getting over his tragic pink-eyed incident last Sunday. He’ll get the minutes that you’ll want to see, around 30, which should be where his floor will remain intact versus the sad Brooklyn Nets.

Stud of Night:
Damian Lillard – The expensive pick of the night but I believe that he will be worth it, as he has been on a roll lately.

Daily Fantasy Basketball NBA Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/01/18

C.J. McCollum, vs. Timberwolves (FD: $7200, DK: $6900)
Projected Points: FD: 33.9, DK: 35.05

Could be one of the chalkiest plays of the night, however, some people might stay away as he had a rough night last night after only scoring 11 points. But, history generally shows that after a rough game he bounces back just fine, especially against Minnesota who give up 35 fantasy points to shooting guard starters. McCollum devoured the Wolves last time out, hitting the perfect lineup and in both DraftKings and FanDuel.

D’Angelo Russell, vs. Kings (FD: $7500, DK: $7300)
Projected Points: FD: 36.72, DK: 38.35

Russell really came through in the last quarter of Tuesday nights game versus the Cavs. Scoring 45 fantasy points, while hitting 9-of-18 shots and three 3-pointers for a total of 25 points, five rebounds and six assists in 32 minutes of play. His numbers have certainly looked solid, and so has the knee he had surgery on since joining the Nets.

Small Forward

Daily Fantasy Basketball NBA Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/01/18

DeMarre Carroll, vs. Kings (FD: $5900, DK: $5900)
Projected Points: FD: 29.07, DK: 29.48

I like Carroll tonight to EAT against the Sacramento defense, as Rich Block from Rich’s Building Blocks videos would say in our Lineuplab Facebook Group. His salary is inexpensive and he should undoubtedly hit around the 5x value range. His fantasy points per game have increased over his last five starts showing that this is his perfect time for a perfect lineup.

Nemanja Bjelica, vs. Trail Blazers (FD: $5800, DK: $5300)
Projected Points: FD: 26.29, DK: 26.56

With Jimmy Butler now out for several weeks, it’s the ideal time to lock him into your lineups. Another underpriced player who is playing around the high 30’s in minutes per game. Monday night versus Sacramento Bjelica was in both of the perfect lineups after garnering 36 FanDuel points and 34 DraftKings points. At this price, he is a steal with a solid floor for cash games.

Studs of the Night (if you can afford them, go for it):
Brandon Ingram, vs. Heat (FD: $7400, DK: $6900)
Projected Points: FD: 31.38, DK: 31.66

LeBron James, vs. 76ers (FD: $12200, DK: $11900)
Projected Points: FD: 55.31, DK: 56.42

Power Forward

Daily Fantasy Basketball NBA Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/01/18

Dario Saric, vs. Cavaliers (FD: $7100, DK: $6500)
Projected Points: FD: 29.19, DK: 30.49

Saric has been one of the most consistent players for the 76ers, scoring double digits in 40 straight games. What worries me, slightly, is that Philadelphia has just acquired Ersan Ilyasova and is available to play in Thursday nights game, however, being brand new to the squad it is hard to imagine him taking away a lot of playing time from the most consistent guy on the team.

Zach Randolph, vs. Nets (FD: $6100, DK: $6300)
Projected Points: FD: 27.32, DK: 28.11

Randolph tonight is yet another guy poised to go off if Skal Labissiere (ankle) sits (as of right now he is probable). Randolph has been playing well as the Kings continue to have problems with the Center/Forward position. He scored 36.5 DK and 35.1 FanDuel points and does rather well against teams that play at a higher pace (the Nets play at the sixth pace in the league, while the Kings are close the bottom, locking in the 3rd slowest pace in the league.)

Punt Play:
Ed Davis, vs. Timberwolves (FD: $4000, DK: $4200)
Projected Points: FD: 13.4, DK: 13.25

Center

Daily Fantasy Basketball NBA Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/01/18

Hassan Whiteside, vs. Lakers (FD: $7,700, DK: $8,000)
Projected Points: FD: 39.9, DK: 40.17

Over the course of the past ten games, Whiteside has managed to average a double-double putting up 13.7 points per game while grabbing 12.3 rebounds per game. He’s also nearly averaging two blocks per game during the same timeframe and you know how valuable those blocks can be in fantasy basketball. On Tuesday night he crushed the 76ers, putting up 46 DraftKings and 49 FanDuel points.

Julius Randle, vs. Heat (FD: $7,700, DK: $7,500)
Projected Points: FD: 33.8, DK: 34.4

What’s not to love about Julius Randle as of late? Even his coach commended him, saying that he been playing with energy, impact and consistency. His minutes over the last three games have averaged up to 32.5 per game, while his fantasy points have been value-worthy (44.3 DraftKings / 41 FanDuel). Randle has a solid floor of the high 30’s/low 40’s lately, look for him to beat projections tonight.
