Wednesday’s NBA schedule is jam-packed with 11 games. There are a ton of value plays to consider, as a result. NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/24/18

Derrick Rose, MIN at TOR

Tom Thibodeau loves him some Derrick Rose. The two have a long-standing relationship since their days with the Bulls and Thibodeau clearly plans to play him a lot this season, or, at least for as long as Rose is healthy. Rose is averaging 28 minutes per contest, helping him post 14.8 rebounds, 3.8 rebounds, and five assists. Rose is not a good three-pointer shooter, but his 23.5% usage rate is encouraging for his scoring upside. Look for him to get enough time on the floor Wednesday to provide value at this price.

Isaiah Canaan, PHO vs. LAL

With the ugliness that is the Suns’ point guard position, Canaan has started each of their first three games. Devin Booker is also helping to facilitate their offense, but Canaan has still been able to log 30 minutes per contest. Canaan can go damage from behind the arc, so the added playing time has helped him average 10 points and two three-pointers per contest. The Lakers play at the fastest pace (108.7 possessions per game) in the league, so Canaan could be in line for even more opportunities to score in this contest.

SHOOTING GUARDS

Eric Gordon, HOU vs. UTA

Chris Paul will be out due to his suspension again Wednesday, leaving Gordon with another opportunity to start. He excelled without Paul on Sunday against the Clippers, scoring 21 points to go along with five rebounds, two assists, one steal, and five three-pointers. Across 30 starts last year, Gordon averaged 21.5 points. 2.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 3.8 three-pointers per contest. His usage rate also increased from 22% in a reserve role to 27.8% when he started.

Wesley Matthews, DAL at ATL

DraftKings = $5,200

Matthews may not get a ton of publicity, but he’s an important part of the Mavericks. He’s averaged at least 34 minutes per game in every season that he’s been with the team, including through the first three games this year. His field goal percentage usually isn’t great, but he’s still managed to average 13.8 points and 2.2 three-pointers per game for his career. The Hawks have allowed 122.7 points per game, making Matthews a strong option to consider based on his minutes floor.

SMALL FORWARDS

T.J. Warren, PHO vs. LAL

Warren started all 65 games that he played in last year, but he’s moved to the bench this season. His playing time has dropped from 33 minutes to 23 minutes per game, but his usage rate has increased from 24.9% to a whopping 29.6%. He should continue to see the bulk of the scoring opportunities with the Suns’ second unit, making him a great option in what should be a high-scoring contest versus the Lakers.

Jae Crowder, UTA at HOU

This game sets up really well for Crowder. The Rockets like to play a lot of small lineups and will have their depth challenged with both Paul and James Ennis (hamstring) out. They also play at the eighth-fastest pace (105) in the league. Crowder plays a crucial role within the second unit for the Jazz, helping him average 30 minutes per contest. He’s cashed in the added playing time by averaging 15 points, 6.7 rebounds and two three-pointers.

POWER FORWARDS

Markieff Morris, WAS at GS

Speaking of dealing with limited depth, the Wizards frontcourt is hurting entering play Wednesday. Dwight Howard (back) will be out yet again and has yet to play a game this season. Fill in starter Ian Mahinmi is listed as questionable with a back injury of his own. Even if he does play, this is not a good matchup for him considering all the small lineups the Warriors like to deploy. Morris is averaging 16.3 points, seven rebounds, one steal, 1.7 blocks and three three-pointers across 27 minutes per game this year and should at least see similar playing time in this contest, if not more.

Dwight Powell, DAL at ATL

DraftKings = $5,000

Powell is only averaging 17 minutes a game, but his 26.3 percent usage rate has helped him average 15.7 points. Both numbers are likely to decline over the course of the season, but he’s proven the Mavericks can rely on him for however long it takes Dirk Nowitzki to return from injury. The Hawks will again be without John Collins (ankle) on Wednesday, leaving Powell with a chance to thrive against their weak frontcourt.

CENTERS

JaVale McGee, LAL at PHO

McGee isn’t going to last as a value play for much longer. His price is steadily climbing because he’s averaging 15 points, 7.3 rebounds, and three blocks through three games. Having excellent passers around him like LeBron James, Rajon Rondo and Lonzo Ball is going to help him get a lot of easy buckets and he’s proven to be a force when it comes to blocks. Facing Deandre Ayton might not be an easy task, but McGee is still in line for valuable performance.

Myles Turner, IND at SA

DraftKings = $5,800

Is this finally the year that Turner breaks out? Well, it certainly doesn’t look like it through four games. With averages of just 12.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, a lot of Turner’s value on a nightly basis hinges on his ability to block shots. Luckily, he hasn’t disappointed in that department with 1.8 rejections per contest. Domantas Sabonis eats into some of Turner’s playing time, but it’s not often that you can roster Turner at this cheap of a price. It might be worth taking a chance on him in tournament play.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/22/18

J.J. Barea, DAL vs. CHI

The Mavericks certainly have a lot to be excited about with two promising young players in Luka Doncic and Dennis Smith Jr. They also have some valuable veterans on this roster. One of them is Barea, who has been stalwart of their second unit for many years. This season has been no different with him averaging 10.5 points, two rebounds, 10.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.5 three-pointers over his first two games. Although he doesn’t log a ton of minutes, he can still be valuable based on his 20.6 percent usage rate and ability to rack up assists.

Bryn Forbes, SA at LAL

If it wasn’t for bad luck, the Spurs would have no luck at all this season when it comes to their point guards. Dejounte Murray (knee) is out for the year and Derrick White is still working his way back from a heel injury. Forbes has started both games in their absence, averaging 14 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, one steal, and three three-pointers. He’s not your traditional point guard in terms of his assists, but his ability to shoot from behind the arc leaves him with upside, especially against a Lakers team that plays at such a fast pace.

SHOOTING GUARDS

Josh Hart, LAL vs. SA

The Lakers will be without two key parts of their rotation for this game with Rajon Rondo and Brandon Ingram both suspended. Several players will likely be in line for increased opportunities, including Hart. He’s already off to a good start, averaging 15.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals, 1.5 blocks and two three-pointers per game. He’s also seen his usage rate skyrocket from 13.5% last year to 21.6% this season.

Wesley Matthews, DAL vs. CHI

DraftKings = $5,000

Another veteran who plays a significant role for the Mavericks is Matthews. He’s averaged 35 minutes across their first two games and has logged at least 34 minutes per contest in each of his previous three seasons with the team. His numbers aren’t off the charts, but he’s averaged at least 12.5 points per game in each of those seasons in large part because he’s also contributed at least 2.4 three-pointers per contest. The Bulls have allowed an average of 112.5 points across their first two games.

SMALL FORWARDS

Trevor Ariza, PHO at GS

The Suns have a lot of talented young players on their team and added Ariza over the summer to provide some veteran leadership. His first game with the team couldn’t have gone much better, posting 21 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and five three-pointers against the Mavericks. However, he came crashing back down to Earth with five points and three rebounds in their subsequent game against the Nuggets. The good news is he played at least 29 minutes in both contests and should have a significant role moving forward. With all the small lineups the Warriors like to deploy, look for Ariza to be heavily involved Monday.

Jae Crowder, UTA vs. MEM

DraftKings = $4,700

Crowder showed a lot of promise during his tenure with the Celtics, but his brief stint with the Cavaliers in the first half of last season was a train wreck. He played much better after being dealt to the Jazz, averaging 11.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 1.8 three-pointers per contest. The Jazz have given him a significant role off the bench this year, as well, helping him post 15 points, six rebounds, one steal and two three-pointers per game. They have also played at the fifth-fastest pace (110.7 possessions per game) in the early going, making Crowder a viable option for your entry.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/22/18

Serge Ibaka, TOR vs. CHA

With the league trending towards smaller lineups, you could see the writing on the wall when it came to playing time for Jonas Valanciunas. He averaged a career-low 22 minutes per game last year and has only logged 18 minutes per contest through the first three games this season. Ibaka has been the Raptors preferred option up front when they do go small, helping him average 29 minutes a game. While he’s not putting up the gaudy block numbers like he did during his tenure with the Thunder, Ibaka has still been excellent this year with 15.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, one steal and 1.7 blocks per game. The Hornets like to play small, so look for Ibaka to see plenty of minutes Monday.

Dwight Powell, DAL vs. CHI

The Mavericks desperately needed to add talent at center and they did just that by bringing in DeAndre Jordan. They still don’t have a ton of talent up front, though, and are missing Dirk Nowitzki as he recovers from an ankle injury. Powell has been extremely involved as a member of their second unit with a 29.1% usage rate. That’s not going to hold up, but he’s going to get added opportunities to produce until Nowitzki returns. Based on how poorly the Bulls have played on the defensive end, Powell could be in line to extend his hot start.

CENTERS

Myles Turner, IND at MIN

Turner was a trendy pick for a breakout campaign last year, but he didn’t show much improvement. In fact, his 47.9% field goal percentage was the lowest mark of his young career. He’s had an inconsistent start this year, but that could be partly because the Pacers haven’t had a game yet that was decided by fewer than 17 points. Karl-Anthony Towns isn’t a great defender and Turner has the ability to contribute plenty of blocks, leaving him with upside Monday.

JaVale McGee, LAL vs. SA

DraftKings = $4,900

McGee has done a great job for the Lakers. They like to use a lot of small lineups, but McGee has averaged 21 minutes a game as their starting center. After being relegated to an extremely limited role with the Warriors, McGee has cashed in his added playing time this year for 14.5 points, seven rebounds and four blocks per contest. Even though Rondo won’t play, McGee still has LeBron James and Lonzo Ball to create scoring opportunities for him. If he keeps playing like this, he won’t be this cheap for much longer.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/18/18

Goran Dragic, MIA at WAS

The Heat were extremely shorthanded Wednesday with James Johnson, Justise Winslow, Dion Waiters, and Wayne Ellington all sidelined. Dragic was one of the players who stepped up in their absence, scoring 26 points to go along with four rebounds, four assists and one block in 32 minutes versus the Magic. There is a chance that all four players will sit again Thursday, which would again leave Dragic with an added role in the offense. He might lose a few assists without as many quality players around him, but he should make up for that with added scoring.

Cameron Payne, CHI at PHI

DraftKings = $3,600

Payne enters this season as the backup at point guard to Kris Dunn. Payne had a few decent games last year when given extended playing time, but a lot of those performances came when Dunn was injured. Even though his playing time will be somewhat limited, the Bulls are extremely thin at point guard outside of him and Dunn. In 23 minutes per game last year, Payne averaged 8.8 points, 4.5 assists, one steal and 1.4 three-pointers per contest. His upside isn’t great, but if the Bulls get down big on the road against the far superior Sixers, Payne could be productive in garbage time.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/18/18

J.J. Redick, PHI vs. CHI

The Sixers are going with an odd strategy of using Markelle Fultz as the starting shooting guard to begin games, but then starting Redick there for the third quarter. Fultz ended up playing 24 minutes under that arrangement in their season opener, but he didn’t play well. Redick, on the other hand, scored 16 points and hit two three-pointers in 29 minutes. Fultz is going to have his growing pains, so expect Redick to edge him out in playing time, at least for now. The Bulls are not a good defensive team, so Redick might be able to light them up from behind the arc.

Justin Holiday, CHI at PHI

DraftKings = $4,300

The Bulls entered the preseason with the intention of starting Jabari Parker at small forward and Lauri Markkanen at power forward. Once Markkanen went down with an elbow injury, it opened the door for Parker to slide to power forward and for Holiday to enter the starting five. Parker has since been moved to a sixth man role off the bench, but Holiday remains a member of the starting unit. He won’t get a ton of shots playing alongside Zach LaVine and Bobby Portis, but he should get enough playing time to be worth considering at this cheap price.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/18/18

Josh Richardson, MIA at WAS

DraftKings = $6,200

Not only did Dragic benefit from the Heat’s lack of depth Wednesday, but Richardson finished the game with 21 shot attempts. He wasn’t very efficient and was only 2-for-10 from behind the arc, but he still scored 21 points to go along with five rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block. Should the Heat have the same injury concerns Thursday, look for Richardson to play a vital role in their offense.

Otto Porter Jr., WAS vs. MIA
FanDuel = $6,400
DraftKings = $5,600

Porter doesn’t get a lot of headlines playing with John Wall and Bradley Beal, but he’s a fine player in his own right. He doesn’t always get a lot of shot attempts, but he’s been efficient with a field goal percentage of at least 50.3% in both of the last two seasons. Not only does he provide added value on the glass, but he also averaged 1.5 steals last year and has recorded at least 1.4 steals per contest in each of the last three seasons. Don’t count on him to provide as much scoring as Richardson, but Porter is still a viable option for your entry.

Bobby Portis, CHI at PHI

The Bulls made a somewhat surprising decision late in the preseason to start Portis ahead of Parker. Portis was ticketed to provide a ton of energy off their bench, but the Bulls decided to move Parker to a bench role after they struggled mightily on the defensive end at the start of the preseason. Portis is instant offense, posting the second-highest usage rate (26%) on the team last year. LaVine is going to take a ton of shots, but Portis might be the second best offensive weapon among their starters.

Markieff Morris, WAS vs. MIA

DraftKings = $5,000

The Wizards added Dwight Howard over the summer, but he’s battling a back injury and is listed as questionable for this contest. Even if he does take the floor, he may not be completely healthy. The Wizards don’t have a ton of quality size up front behind Howard and Morris with their backups including Jeff Green, Ian Manhimi and Jason Smith. Morris might be forced to spend some additional time at center in this game, giving him added opportunities to provide value. He’s going to take a back seat offensively to Wall, Beal, and Porter, but he still chipped in 11.5 points and 5.6 rebounds across 27 minutes per game last year.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 10/18/18

DraftKings = $4,500

The Lakers made several additions during the offseason, one of which was adding McGee to their very shallow group of centers. McGee is expected to start, but he likely won’t see traditional starter’s minutes. Expect the Lakers to deploy a lot of small lineups. With that being said, McGee is still going to play more than the 10 minutes a game he averaged last year with the Warriors. He also has the opportunity for a lot of easy buckets catching passes from LeBron James, Rajon Rondo and Lonzo Ball. McGee is also a great source for blocks, making him someone to target in tournament play at this cheap price.

Bam Adebayo, MIA at WAS

DraftKings = $4,900

The Heat were a bit of a mess at center last season. Hassan Whiteside was expected to be their anchor in the middle, but he averaged only 25 minutes a game. That opened up the door for Adebayo to get extra minutes. Whiteside did play 33 minutes in their opener Wednesday, but Abebayo still logged 22 minutes due to all of their injuries. He chipped in nine points, eight rebounds, and a steal, helping him stay in the discussion as a value play option Thursday. However, I do prefer McGee to Adebayo if you want to save money at center.

Tyler Ulis, PHO vs. NO

The Suns don’t have many healthy players in their backcourt with Devin Booker (hand), Elfrid Payton (knee) and Troy Daniels (ankle) all unlikely to play. Ulis has played at least 30 minutes in five straight games due to all of the injuries on the Suns, averaging 16.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, eight assists and 1.8 three-pointers per contest. The Suns and Pelicans are the top two teams in the league in terms of pace of play, which should leave Ulis with plenty of opportunities to produce again Friday.

Tyler Ennis, LAL vs. MIN

DraftKings = $3,900

Lonzo Ball (knee) will be out again Friday, which will open up more playing time for Ennis against the Timberwolves. Ennis has logged at last 22 minutes in back-to-back contests, averaging 10 points, 4.5 rebounds, six assists, 1.5 steals and one block. What’s even more impressive is that he accomplished that against two tough defensive teams in the Jazz and the Spurs. Although he doesn’t have a ton of offensive upside, Ennis has the potential to contribute enough across the board to warrant consideration at this cheap price.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 4/6/18

Danuel House, PHO vs. NO

DraftKings = $3,900

With the Suns running out of healthy players, House has been able to establish a significant role for himself as the season comes to a close. He has logged at least 25 minutes in three straight games, averaging 11.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.3 three-pointers during that stretch. Not only do both of these teams play at a fast pace, but the Pelicans also allow the second-most points per game (110.7) in the league. House could provide significant value again Friday.

Malik Monk, CHA at ORL

DraftKings = $4,400

The Hornets have been officially eliminated from the playoffs, which has resulted in more playing time for Monk. He has received exactly 24 minutes in each of the last three games, averaging 18 points, 2.7 assists and four three-pointers per contest. The Magic have nothing left to play for either and struggle to defend opposing guards, making Monk a candidate to have another productive offensive showing in this game.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 4/6/18

David Nwaba, CHI at BOS

DraftKings = $4,700

The Bulls will be shorthanded down the stretch as Kris Dunn (toe), Zach LaVine (knee) and Denzel Valentine (knee) have already been ruled out for the remainder of the season. That has opened up significant playing time for Nwaba, who has thrived when given add minutes this season. In 13 games that he has played at least 30 minutes this season, he is averaging 12.5 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.4 steals. The Celtics are a tough defensive matchup, but Nwaba is still a viable option at this price.

MarShon Brooks, MEM vs. SAC

DraftKings = $5,200

The Grizzlies are right up there for teams tanking the hardest down the stretch and will be without most of their noteworthy players again Friday. Brooks has become one of the main offensive threats that they have left, averaging 23.3 points and 3.7 three-pointers in the last three games. He took at least 12 shots in each game and should continue to be heavily involved. His price is climbing, but it’s still low enough to give him value. Of note, Brooks is only eligible at small forward on FanDuel as he is listed at shooting guard on DraftKings.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 4/6/18

Anthony Tolliver, DET vs. DAL

DraftKings = $5,700

Tolliver is yet another one of the many players around the league benefiting from injuries to star players as the Pistons are currently without Blake Griffin (ankle). In the last four games with Griffin sidelined, Tolliver has averaged 16.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, one steal and 3.5 three-pointers. The Mavericks are dealing with their own issues up front and will be without Dirk Nowitzki (ankle) and Nerlens Noel (suspension), leaving Tolliver with an even better opportunity to thrive against their backups.

Ivan Rabb, MEM vs. SAC

DraftKings = $4,000

Not only are the Grizzlies missing several key players in their backcourt, but they will also be without Marc Gasol (rest), JaMychal Green (knee), Jarell Martin (ankle) and Chandler Parsons (knee) on Friday. Rabb should get all the minutes he can handle as a result. In the last five games that Rabb has played at least 20 minutes, he has averaged 10 points and 7.8 rebounds. Expect him to easily match that minute’s threshold Friday with 30 minutes not out of the question.

Len had one of his better games of the season Tuesday against the Kings, finishing with 17 points and 15 rebounds in 32 minutes. The Hawks are in full tank mode and dealing with several injuries, including the loss of Dennis Schroder (ankle) for the season. Taylor has stepped into a prominent role as a result, logging at least 29 minutes in five straight games. He’s made the most of his opportunity, averaging 16.4 points and 6.6 assists over that stretch. He just played the Heat on Tuesday, finishing with 15 points and nine assists in 38 minutes. He could provide significant value again in their rematch.

D.J. Augustin, ORL vs. DAL

DraftKings = $5,800

Augustin only played 20 minutes in a blowout win Tuesday against the Knicks but he had played at least 32 minutes in four straight games. He may not be flashy, but he did average 16 points, six rebounds, five assists and 1.5 three-pointers in those four contests. The Mavericks allow the eighth-most FanDuel points per game and the sixth-most DraftKings points per game to opposing point guards, making Augustin a viable option for your entry.

SHOOTING GUARDS

Lonzo Ball (knee) did not play Tuesday against the Jazz and the Lakers have already said they are going to take a cautious approach with his return. Unless he is completely pain-free Wednesday, don’t expect him to play. With Isaiah Thomas (hip) also out for the season, the Lakers have turned to Hart for added minutes. Hart has logged at least 26 minutes in each of the last three games, averaging 9.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 three-pointers. He doesn’t have a lot of offensive upside, but his above-average ability to grab rebounds as a guard still makes him someone to consider.

Ben McLemore, MEM at NO

DraftKings = $3,300

It’s going to be another skeleton crew for the Grizzlies on Wednesday with Tyreke Evans (personal), Andrew Harrison (wrist), Wayne Selden Jr. (wrist) and JaMychal Green (knee) all ruled out. McLemore has played at least 23 minutes in back-to-back contests, averaging 10.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and one steal. He gets a favorable matchup against the Pelicans, who play at the third-fastest pace (102.6 possessions per game) in the league, so he might be worth the risk in tournament play based on his expanded role.

SMALL FORWARDS

Robert Covington, PHI at DET

Covington was well on his way to a monster performance Tuesday against the Nets but only ended up playing 26 minutes with Sixers opening up a big lead. Even in limited action, he still scored 12 points to go along with six rebounds, two assists, four steals, three blocks and four three-pointers. The Sixers were without both Joel Embiid (eye) and Dario Saric (elbow) in that game and both will sit again Wednesday. Expect Covington to see increased usage as a result, giving him tremendous upside when combined with his defensive prowess.

MarShon Brooks, MEM at NO
FanDuel = $3,900
DraftKings = $4,600

Brooks (ankle) is nursing his own injury and is listed as questionable for Wednesday. He didn’t play Sunday due to the injury but averaged a surprising 22.5 points, two assists, 1.5 steals and three three-pointers in his previous two games. If he can play Wednesday, he should get plenty of minutes with the Grizzlies’ laundry list of injured players. Keep an eye out for updates leading up to the game and get him into your lineup if he suits up. Of note, Brooks is only small forward eligible on FanDuel as he is listed as shooting guard on DraftKings.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 4/4/18

Anthony Tolliver, DET vs. PHI

DraftKings = $5,500

Blake Griffin (ankle) has missed the last three games for the Pistons and isn’t scheduled to even be re-evaluated until Friday. Tolliver has taken on a prominent role in his absence, playing at least 31 minutes in all three contests. He’s provided valuable production, averaging 13.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.3 three-pointers per contest. His price is climbing, but it’s still low enough to warrant consideration for your entry.

Ersan Ilyasova, PHI at DET
FanDuel = $5,000
DraftKings = $5,600

Ilyasova is another player who benefits from the injuries to Embiid and Saric as he now moves into the starting lineup for the Sixers. Although he was only needed for 28 minutes Tuesday, he still managed to finish with 11 points, 13 rebounds and two three-pointers. The Pistons will be playing small with Griffin out, which fits well with Ilyasova’s skillset. He and Tolliver present two excellent value opportunities facing off against each other Wednesday.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 4/4/18

Mike Muscala, ATL vs. MIA

DraftKings = $4,300

The Hawks tanking has led to significant playing time for Muscala, who has logged at least 25 minutes in six straight games. He played 33 minutes with Dewayne Dedmon (ribs) out Tuesday, finishing with 13 points, seven rebounds, two steals, and three three-pointers. Dedmon was a late scratch for that game and it wouldn’t be surprising if the Hawks held him out again Wednesday. If they do, Muscala could get plenty of minutes again.

Richaun Holmes, PHI at DET
FanDuel = $4,200
DraftKings = $4,300

Amir Johnson has been starting in place of Embiid, but Holmes has still played at least 22 minutes in three of the last four games. His numbers aren’t off the charts, but he averaged a respectable 11 points and five rebounds in those three contests. This certainly won’t be an easy matchup against Andre Drummond, but with only six games on the schedule Wednesday, Holmes is still someone to consider using in tournament play.

Point Guard

Ricky Rubio, vs. Mavericks (FD: $7,400, DK: $7,100)
Projected Points: FD: 33.66, DK: 34.15

The Jazz are currently battling over the eighth playoff spot in the West versus the Nuggets and Clippers. This leaves Rubio to leave it all on the court night after night, which he continues to prove to do so. Averaging an insanely impressive plus/minus of +21.3 over the last 617 minutes, he has turned into the superstar of his team.


Dennis Schroder, vs. Kings (FD: $6,200, DK: $6,500)
Projected Points: FD: 35.61, DK: 37.03

Schroder didn’t get the memo that the Hawks are out of contention for a playoff spot. Tuesday night, in an unlikely win over the Jazz he managed a career-high 41 points. Thursday night he’ll go up against a mediocre Sacramento defense that is currently giving up 22.4 points per game and 8.27 assists to point guards, two categories that Schroder has been excelling in lately.

Shooting Guard

James Harden, vs. Pistons (FD: $11,600, DK: $11,600)
Projected Points: FD: 53.49, DK: 55.01

In USA Today, Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said it quite well when he stated, “That’s the best offensive player I’ve ever seen. They were running guys to him, and he just steps a little further back and hits a three. You know, the way he can pass and see the floor, get fouls, layups, floaters, maybe a lob, maybe out to the corner, he has so many weapons, and now he’s shooting those stepback threes, it’s impossible to guard him. It’s impossible.” Look for him to put on another show at home tonight versus the Pistons.


Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, vs. Pelicans (FD: $5,500, DK: $6,200)
Projected Points: FD: 32.6, DK: 32.72

The Lakers rank first in pace of play, while the Pelicans check in at third, making this Thursday’s fastest-paced matchup. It’s entirely possible that if you blink, you might miss a possession. Caldwell-Pope will receive plenty of opportunities at the shooting guard position, as the Pelicans are on the second game of a back-to-back. I like him best for FanDuel cash games, as his salary there seems perfectly priced. You should see him hit his expected floor of around 32 points.

 

Small Forward

Joe Ingles, vs. Mavericks (FD: $6,600, DK: $6,400)
Projected Points: FD: 27.01, DK: 28.16

If you’re looking for a hot hand on one of the hottest teams in the NBA, look no further than Ingles. The Jazz, having won 9 out of their last 10, are on a heater at the right time of the season. Each member of the team is stepping up like never before. The price is most certainly right for Ingles, as in his last 10 games he has averaged 14.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Don’t be surprised when you look up on the stat sheet and find him having a 6x-6.5x value game against the Mavs Thursday night.


E’Twaun Moore, vs. Lakers (FD: $4,500, DK: $4,300)
Projected Points: FD: 21.16, DK: 21.64

Even though I’ve already given you a relatively inexpensive option for small forward, I have one more, Moore. In what promises to be the fastest-paced game of the night, Moore will have more than ample opportunities to shoot the ball, which is perfect timing as he appears to be at the beginning of a heater. The Lakers are giving up 30.2 fantasy points to small forward starters, and it shows as last time out versus the Lakers, he scored 29.5 DraftKings/FanDuel points.

 

Power Forward

Anthony Davis, vs. Lakers (FD: $12,500, DK: $11,700)
Projected Points: FD: 61.82, DK: 61.33

In the middle of the Pelicans’ charge to the playoffs, no team has proved itself capable of stopping Davis. As a result, the Pelicans are leaning hard on him towards the end of the season. In his last ten games, he has managed to average a double-double grabbing 11.3 rebounds and 28.3 points per game. If you can afford the hefty price tag, there is undoubtedly an opportunity for him to go off against the Lakers. In their last two meetings against each other this season he has 71.25 DK points and 72.7 FanDuel points.


Aaron Gordon, vs. 76ers (FD: $7,500, DK: $7,300) 
Projected Points: FD: 34.84, DK: 35.01

With Coach Frank Vogel giving Gordon 34 minutes of playing time in Tuesday nights game, you can rest assured Gordon is back and ready to play some ball. Historically, he has done quite well versus the 76ers this season, averaging 18 points, eight rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 blocks per game. If you can’t afford the sizable salary of Anthony Davis in your lineup, you can pivot toward Gordon. Being the hero of what is left of the Magic, he is unlikely to let you down.

 

Center

Rudy Gobert, vs. Mavericks (FD: $9,500, DK: $8,300)
Projected Points: FD: 39.81, DK: 39.72

With a price of only $8,300 on Draftkings, I don’t see why you shouldn’t lock Gobert in all of your DK lineups for Thursday night. Gobert has been an unstoppable force as no player has been better than him value-wise for March. He has managed to rack up 18.9 points, 13.9 rebounds, 2.4 blocks and has been getting the minutes, averaging 36.1 per game. The FanDuel price seems right, but take advantage of the low salary play on DraftKings while you have the chance.

 

Dewayne Dedmon, vs. Kings (FD: $5,300, DK: $5,600)
Projected Points: FD: 29.58, DK: 29.37

Dedmon has been on the receiving end of some extra minutes in place of John Collins, who has been dealing with an ankle injury. Tuesday night he went off, most impressively against one of the top defenses in the league, managing to hit 15 points, 15 rebounds, two steals, four assists and a block in 29 minutes of action on the court. He could easily crush value tonight on both websites, as last time out versus the Kings he scored 55 FanDuel points and 56 DraftKings points in only 24 minutes of play. Just imagine what he will accomplish with those few extra precious minutes.

Thomas has had a couple of quiet offensive performances, scoring a total of 16 points in his last two games. He was a combined 0-for-7 from behind the arc, so it was mostly a matter of him being cold from the field. Before that, he had scored at least 20 points in three straight contests. Thursday brings a great matchup against a Pelicans team that plays at the third-fastest pace (102.4 possessions per game) and allows the second-most points per game (110.8) in the league, so look for Thomas to have a better offensive showing.

J.J. Barea, DAL vs. UTA
FanDuel = $5,600
DraftKings = $5,500

This is not a good matchup on the surface against a tough Jazz defense. However, the Mavericks will be without Wesley Matthews (leg) and Dennis Smith Jr. (ankle) on Thursday, which is going to leave Barea with a significant role. He logged 29 minutes with both players out Tuesday, finishing with 10 points, four rebounds, and eight assists. Barea has also played well against the Jazz in two previous games this season, averaging 17 points, 2.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists and two three-pointers. There aren’t a lot of great cheap options at point guard, so Barea might be worth the risk.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/22/18

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, LAL at NO
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $6,200

Like Thomas, Caldwell-Pope is in a bit of an offensive slump, shooting just 5-for-16 (31.3%) in his last two games. He’s been able to contribute in other areas though, recording a combined 16 rebounds, five assists and two steals in those contests. He’s played at least 36 minutes in nine of his last ten games, so the heavy playing time helps to give him a high floor. Considering the Pelicans struggles on defense, Caldwell-Pope is another Lakers guard that is a viable option for your entry.

Luke Kennard, DET at HOU
FanDuel = $4,400
DraftKings = $4,000

Kennard has provided an offensive spark of late, scoring at least 10 points in five of his last six games. He played at least 24 minutes in all five of those games, each of which ended in lopsided scores. The Pistons have struggled down the stretch and the Rockets are rolling, so this game could get out of hand early as well. Kennard can provide value with added playing time, so he might be worth taking a chance on at this cheap price Thursday.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/22/18

E’Twaun Moore, NO vs. LAL

DraftKings = $4,300

Moore had one of his best offensive performances of the season Wednesday, scoring 23 and hitting three three-pointers against the Pacers. He might not be one of the focal points of the Pelicans’ offense, but he has still managed to score at least 10 points in seven straight games. He gets a lot of time on the floor as well, logging at least 32 minutes in five of his last six games. Not only do the Pelicans play at a fast pace, but the Lakers play at the fastest pace (103.1) in the league. With added scoring possibilities possibly on tap Thursday, Moore is a nice value play once again.

Stanley Johnson, DET at HOU
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,200

Johnson is not a steady scorer, providing nine points or fewer in six of his eight games in March. However, he’s back in the starting lineup now, averaging nine points, five rebounds, and 2.7 steals in his last three games. He’s also been heavily involved in the offense but shot just 10-for-31 (32.3%) during that three-game stretch. If he can get a few more shots to fall Thursday, he could provide significant value when you combine that with his defensive abilities.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/22/18

Nikola Mirotic, NO vs. LAL

DraftKings = $5,500

March has not been a good month for Mirotic as he is shooting just 38.9% from the field in 11 games. His usage rate was 21.9% during that stretch, so he’s still been heavily involved in the offense despite his struggles. He can score points in a hurry when he’s hot though, giving him upside considering his role in the offense. This has the makings of a high scoring game with how fast both of these teams play, making Mirotic a viable option for your entry.

Cheick Diallo, NO vs. LAL
FanDuel = $3,900
DraftKings = $3,800

Diallo has been a valuable contributor off the bench for the Pelicans, averaging 12 points and 10 rebounds in his last three games. Averaging only 10 minutes per game this season, Diallo played at least 20 minutes in all three of those contests. The Pelicans are playing their third game in three nights Thursday, so expect Diallo and the rest of their bench to see added minutes as they try not to burn out their starters. He could end up being one of the better value plays for the evening at any position.

CENTERS

Dedmon had a surprisingly strong performance against Rudy Gobert and the Jazz on Tuesday, finishing with 15 points, 15 rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block. Even with the Hawks playing for nothing but a high pick in the draft, Dedmon has still logged at least 27 minutes in six of his last seven games. John Collins (ankle) is scheduled to miss his second straight game, freeing up even more minutes in the Hawks frontcourt. The Kings allow the second-most FanDuel points per game and the fifth-most DraftKings points per game to opposing centers, giving Dedmon some upside Thursday.

Mike Muscala, ATL at SAC

DraftKings = $4,400

Muscala started at power forward with Collins out Tuesday, scoring eight points to go along with five rebounds, two steals, one block and two three-pointers in 30 minutes. He’s been dialed in from behind the arc, shooting a combined 13-for-25 (52%) on three-pointers in his last six games. The Hawks struggle to defend power forwards as well, allowing the seventh-most FanDuel points per game and the third-most DraftKings points per game to the position. If you want to go really cheap at center, Muscala is someone to consider.

It’s important to know the intricacies of the NBA schedule to gain an advantage over your opponent in a head-to-head fantasy league as starting your best players might not always give you the best chance to win. Here are some moves you might want to consider for your team based on the week ahead.

Teams With The Most Games – 4 Games Each
Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets, Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors, Utah Jazz

With more than half of the teams in the league playing at least four games each this week, it’s a big help considering the rash of injuries across the league. If your roster is depleted, consider adding the players below who are still available in the majority of leagues.

NBA Fantasy Basketball Schedule Analysis for Week 23

Jeremy Lamb, Charlotte Hornets

The Hornets had the slimmest of playoffs hopes to begin with but suffered a significant blow Saturday with the loss of Nicolas Batum (Achilles). He has already been ruled out for Monday and while there is no definitive timetable for his return, there is really no reason to push him back onto the floor if he’s still in pain. Lamb has played well as a starter this season, averaging 16.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.7 three-pointers in 14 games. He’s still available in 61% of Yahoo! leagues and could be in line for a monster week if Batum misses an extended period of time.

Dillon Brooks, Memphis Grizzlies

Brooks has been stellar offensively in March, averaging 18 points and 2.1 three-pointers in nine games while shooting 45.1% from the field and 82.1% from the charity stripe. Even with Tyreke Evans back for the last two games, Brooks scored at least 15 points and hit at least two three-pointers in both contests. He has excellent matchups this week against the Nets, Sixers, Hornets, and Lakers as all four teams are in the top eight in the league in pace of play. He won’t provide you with much in other categories, but if you need an offensive boost, he’s still available in 73% of Yahoo! leagues.

Cameron Payne, Chicago Bulls

If you could say one of the worst teams in the league has played surprisingly well this season, that team would be the Bulls. Picked to be the worst team in the league by many at the start of the season, they have managed to win 24 games already. They are in full tank mode now though and started resting veterans after the All-Star break to the point where the league got involved. This week looks even bleaker in terms of depth at guard with Kris Dunn (toe) and Zach LaVine (knee) out for at least Monday. They have a back-to-back set Friday and Saturday, so expect LaVine to sit out at least one of those two games as well. Payne played well with both players out Saturday, scoring 13 points to go along with 10 assists and three three-pointers. Still available in 88% of Yahoo! leagues, Payne might be a wise pickup if you need a point guard.

Teams With The Fewest Games – 3 Games Each
Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets, Golden State Warriors, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves, New Orleans Pelicans, Oklahoma City Thunder, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings, Washington Wizards

All teams in the league this week play either three or four games, so the advantage is not as drastic as it has been in past weeks. However, as injuries continue to pile up in the league, there are still some valuable players you might want to consider benching this week based on their uncertain status.

NBA Fantasy Basketball Schedule Analysis for Week 23

Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors

Curry (ankle) is going to miss at least Monday’s game against the Spurs before being re-evaluated Tuesday. Even if he is feeling better, it doesn’t make much sense to play him against the lowly Hawks in their next game on Friday. His best-case scenario might be playing in only one game this week against a tough Jazz defense on Sunday, making him someone you want to keep on your bench.

Brandon Ingram, Los Angeles Lakers

Ingram has already been ruled out for Monday’s game against the Pacers, so he’ll only play two games this week at best. The Lakers have nothing left to play for and don’t want to take any chances with one of the key pieces of their future, so don’t expect them to rush Ingram back onto the floor. Although the last two games are juicy matchups against the Pelicans and Grizzlies, there’s too much risk involved with starting Ingram.

Jaylen Brown, Boston Celtics

The Celtics are extremely thin at guard with Brown (concussion), Kyrie Irving (knee) and Marcus Smart (thumb) all battling injuries. Brown has missed the last four games and has not yet been cleared from the concussion protocol. The Celtics first game this week is Tuesday, so it seems like a stretch that he’ll be ready to play in that contest. He doesn’t excel in any one category, to begin with, so make sure he’s on your bench with a short week in the works.

Tomas Satoransky, WAS at BOS

The Wizards couldn’t have asked for more from Satoransky since John Wall (knee) went down. In 20 starts this season. Satoransky is averaging 11.3 points, four rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.2 three-pointers. He’ll get to face a depleted Celtics backcourt Wednesday that will be without Kyrie Irving (knee), Marcus Smart (thumb) and Jaylen Brown (concussion). Terry Rozier is a fine player and will have a big role with all of them out, but they don’t have many quality players behind him. Look for Satoransky to thrive in this matchup against the Celtics backups.

Brandon Jennings, MIL at ORL

DraftKings = $4,400

Talk about a triumphant return. The Bucks signed Jennings to a 10-day contract and he made his season debut Monday, scoring 16 points to go along with eight rebounds, 12 assists, and three three-pointers. He played 24 minutes against a bad Grizzlies team, which has to be taken into consideration when you look at his numbers. Don’t expect him to be able to match that production again Wednesday, but he could approach 20 minutes again if the Bucks get up big against the lowly Magic. Of note, Jennings is not part of the player pool on FanDuel for some reason, so you’ll only have the opportunity to take advantage of his cheap price if you are playing on DraftKings.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/14/18

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, LAL at GS

Although the Lakers added Isaiah Thomas and have Lonzo Ball back healthy, the injury to Josh Hart (hand) has still left plenty of minutes to go around for their backcourt. Caldwell-Pope is actually having his best month of the season so far in March, averaging 15.6 points, 7.3 rebounds. 2.1 assists, 1.4 steals, and 2.9 three-pointers in seven games. Both the Lakers and the Warriors are in the top four in the league in pace of play, so expect Caldwell-Pope to get plenty of opportunities to keep his hot streak alive Wednesday.

Wayne Ellington, MIA at SAC

Dwyane Wade (hamstring) will be out again Wednesday, which should free up some playing time for Ellington. With Wade sidelined Monday against the Portland Trail Blazers, Ellington logged 30 minutes. Although he only scored 11 points, he was just 4-for-12 from the field, including 3-for-10 on three-pointers. If his shot is falling Wednesday, he could provide significant upside at this cheap price.

SMALL FORWARDS

Justise Winslow, MIA at SAC

Winslow is having his best prolonged stretch of the season, averaging 13 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.6 three-pointers in seven games in March. The key is he is averaging 31 minutes per game this month after averaging no more than 25 minutes in any previous month this season. Expect that to be a trend that continues with Wade out Wednesday, making Winslow a viable option against the lowly Kings.

Andre Iguodala, GS vs. LAL

DraftKings = $4,200

Iguodala (wrist) has missed the last three games for the Warriors but is listed as probable Wednesday against the Lakers. His return couldn’t come at a better time as the Warriors will be without both Stephen Curry (ankle) and Draymond Green (shoulder) in this contest. Iguodala could have a significant role helping to facilitate the Warriors offense, which is great news considering the Lakers allow the fourth-most points per game (110.1) in the league. As long as he plays, he should be able to outproduce his price point Wednesday.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/14/18

Kelly Olynyk, MIA at SAC

Injuries continue to be the theme Wednesday as the Heat will also be without Hassan Whiteside (hip). The Heat won’t have much depth up front as a result, leaving Olynyk with an expanded role. In the last two games that Whiteside missed, Olynyk averaged 11 points, eight rebounds, 4.5 assists, one steal and one block. His offensive upside isn’t very high, but his ability to provide production in multiple categories makes him someone to consider for your entry.

Bam Adebayo, MIA at SAC

DraftKings = $4,300

Olynyk has played well with Whiteside out, but Adebayo has actually started both of the last two games. While he didn’t fare as well, he did average five points, 8.5 rebounds, and two assists. He played 25 minutes Monday against the Trail Blazers, so he should see significant minutes against Wednesday. The Kings allow the second-most FanDuel points per game (55.5) and the third-most DraftKings points per game (54.2) to opposing centers, giving Adebayo upside in this game.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/14/18

Greg Monroe, BOS vs. WAS

The Celtics don’t have a lot of great offensive players, to begin with, and will be without their best one in Irving on Wednesday. Monroe’s usage rate of 22.5% since joining the Celtics is actually the second highest on the team. Although he’s not a big name, the loss of Daniel Theis (knee) is also a big blow to the Celtics frontcourt. Monroe could be in for a monster role if Al Horford also doesn’t play Wednesday due to his illness, but he can still provide value even if Horford takes the floor.

Marcin Gortat, WAS at BOS
FanDuel = $4,000
DraftKings = $4,500

Gortat is slumping right now, averaging just 6.8 points and 5.7 rebounds in six games this month. However, he’s played well against the Celtics this season, averaging 10.5 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and 1.5 blocks in their previous two meetings. With the Celtics shorthanded up front Wednesday, Gortat could have his way on the boards once again. He won’t cost much, making him a viable option in tournament play.

Satoransky continues to start with John Wall (knee) sidelined, logging at least 31 minutes in nine of his last 11 games. Although he is only averaging 7.4 shot attempts in 17 starts this season, he’s cashed in his opportunities by shooting 57.6% from the field during those contests. The Pelicans play at the fourth-fastest pace (102.5 possessions per game) and allow the second-most points per game (111.5) in the league, giving  Satoransky excellent potential Friday.

Xavier Rathan-Mayes, MEM vs. UTA

DraftKings = $4,200

The Grizzlies backcourt will be thin again Friday with Tyreke Evans (ribs), Andrew Harrison (wrist) and Mario Chalmers (hamstring) all out. The Grizzlies signed Rathan-Mayes to a 10-day contract to help restore some depth and he’s actually played a lot, logging at least 26 minutes in back-to-back games. While not spectacular, he did average a respectable 8.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, six assists, and 1.5 steals in those contests. His upside isn’t very high, but it doesn’t have to be to provide value at this cheap price.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/9/18

Ben McLemore, MEM vs. UTA

DraftKings = $4,800

McLemore has played at least 30 minutes in each of his last three games due to all of the Grizzlies injuries, averaging 16.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.7 steals and 2.3 three-pointers. He attempted at least 11 shots in each contest, showing he should continue to have a significant role offensively until some of the injured players return. Two of those three games came against bad teams in the Bulls and Magic, but McLemore is still someone to consider even against a tougher opponent in the Jazz on Friday.

Kobi Simmons, MEM vs. UTA

DraftKings = $4,300

It’s hard to roll with three players in the same backcourt for your entry, but Simmons is yet another cheap Grizzlies player who can provide value. In his last three games, he is averaging 12.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, two assists and 1.7 steals. He played at least 26 minutes in both of the last two games and should again see extended action Friday. He has a limited upside like Rathan-Mayes, but he should still be on your radar.

SMALL FORWARDS

E’Twaun Moore, NO vs. WAS

Anthony Davis (ankle) is listed as doubtful Friday, dealing the Pelicans a significant blow if he is indeed unable to play. He’s been one of the best players in the league since DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles) went down, so multiple players on the Pelicans are going to have to help fill the void. Moore could be one of those players as he is averaging a career-high 32 minutes per game this season. He has already scored at least 10 points in three of his last four games and has some upside in tournament play.

Mario Hezonja, ORL at SAC

DraftKings = $4,200

The Magic will be without two of their five starters Friday with Evan Fournier (knee) and Aaron Gordon (concussion) already ruled out. Hezonja has played well while filling in for injured players throughout the season and should be in line for an expanded role against the Kings. In the 11 games that he has played at least 30 minutes this season, he is averaging 18.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, two steals and 2.3 three-pointers. Don’t hesitate to add him to your entry.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/9/18

Markieff Morris, WAS at NO

Morris has provided steady production for the Wizards, averaging 14.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.7 three-pointers in his last five games. He is averaging just 27 minutes per game this season but logged at least 31 minutes in four of those five contests. I already detailed the Pelicans struggles on defense, which could be even worse without Davis on Friday. Morris could end the night with a big performance.

Montrezl Harrell, LAC vs. CLE

DraftKings = $5,400

Harrell is in the midst of one of his best stretches of the season, averaging 17.1 points and 4.6 rebounds in his last seven games. He was extremely efficient from the field, shooting 50-for-72 (69.4%) in those seven contests. The Clippers play at the sixth-fastest pace (101.3) in the league and the Cavaliers continue to struggle defensively, leaving Harrell with a good opportunity to extend his hot streak Friday.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/9/18

Enes Kanter, NY at MIL

Kanter is one of the best players left on the Knicks after Kristaps Porzingis (knee) was injured and is on pace to average a double-double (14.3 points and 10.8 rebounds) for the first time in his career. He could be in line for another big game Friday since he has averaged 18 points and 17 rebounds in his first two meetings against the Bucks this season. The Bucks allow the seventh-most points per game on FanDuel and the fourth-most points per game on DraftKings to opposing centers, so Kanter hasn’t been the only one that has given them trouble. His price isn’t all that cheap, but it’s still low enough to provide value for your entry.

Brook Lopez, LAL at DEN
FanDuel = $5,900
DraftKings = $5,200

Lopez had a big offensive performance Wednesday against the Magic, scoring 27 points in 35 minutes.  He paired that with a shockingly bad performance on the boards, failing to grab a single rebound. The key is that he logged 35 minutes in the game and should continue to see added playing time with Kyle Kuzma taking on some of Brandon Ingram’s (groin) minutes. It will be tough for him to score 27 points again Friday, but it’s also safe to assume he will contribute more on the glass.
