*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

We’ve got a bevy of value play options to choose from Wednesday with 12 games on the schedule. POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 12/19/18

Terry Rozier, BOS vs. PHO
FanDuel = $4,200
DraftKings = $4,300

Rozier shined filling in last season when the Celtics were dealing with several key injuries, but he’s been limited to just 23 minutes a game this year with Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward back in the fold. However, there are a couple of factors that could work in his favor Wednesday. First, Jaylen Brown (hand) is listed as questionable, so if he doesn’t take the floor, that could open up some added minutes for Rozier. Second, this game could get out of hand early with how poorly the Suns have played and this game being played in Boston. Rozier would also gain some added garbage time minutes in that scenario, so he might be worth the risk in tournament play.

Tyus Jones, MIN vs. DET
FanDuel = $3,900
DraftKings = $3,600

The Timberwolves will be without Jeff Teague (ankle), which will move Derrick Rose into the starting five. Rose is a great DFS option, as a result, but his price doesn’t exactly make him a cheap value play. Jones, on the other hand, isn’t too far off from the minimum price on both sites. He ended up playing 24 minutes in a blowout win over the Kings on Monday, scoring 10 points to go along with three rebounds, 10 assists, and two steals. This game figures to be closer, but that doesn’t mean Jones won’t play enough to be worth considering for your entry.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 12/19/18

Marcus Smart, BOS vs. PHO
FanDuel = $5,200
DraftKings = $4,900

Like Rozier, Smart has seen a significant reduction in his playing time this season. However, if Brown doesn’t play, Smart will likely move into the starting five. Across nine previous starts, Smart has averaged 8.8 points. 3.1 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 2.8 steals. His scoring upside won’t be high whether he starts or comes off the bench, but his contributions in other areas would still make him a viable target with the added playing time.

Jamal Crawford, PHO at BOS
FanDuel = $4,300
DraftKings = $3,600

In a bit of an odd move, the Suns have waived Austin Rivers after acquiring him from the Wizards. They don’t have much depth at point guard, so Rivers could have been a valuable addition. Maybe they really like the production that they have received from Crawford, who is averaging nine points, 2.3 rebounds, and 8.7 assists across his last three games. Crawford will continue to be relied on to help play point guard Wednesday, so he could provide value despite this matchup against a tough Celtics defense.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 12/19/18

Nemanja Bjelica, SAC vs. OKC
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $4,800

Monday’s game was pretty much worst-case scenario for the starters on the Kings. They were pulled early after digging a deep deficit and never returned to the game. Bjelica only played five minutes, but don’t get scared away from him because of one oddball game. Marvin Bagley III (knee) will be out again Wednesday, setting Bjleica up for the opportunity for heavy playing time if the Kings can keep this game close.

E’Twaun Moore, NO at MIL
FanDuel = $4,300
DraftKings = $4,600

Speaking of teams dealing with injuries, things are looking ugly for the Pelicans for this game. Elfrid Payton (finger), Julius Randle (ankle) and Nikola Mirotic (ankle) will all be out, leaving a ton of available minutes. Randle and Mirotic are also two of their best offensive options, so expect Moore to be one of the players that they look to for adding offense. That could leave him as a great option in DFS since both the Pelicans and Bucks are in the top-five in the league in pace of play.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 12/19/18

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, BKN at CHI
FanDuel = $5,600
DraftKings = $5,600

Hollis-Jefferson was sidelined with an injury to start the season and then he was stuck behind Jared Dudley when he was able to return. He’s finally reclaimed his starting spot, which is key because he’s averaged eight minutes more per game as a starter than when he comes off of the bench. The added playing time has helped him average 12.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.2 steals across his 13 starts and he’ll get a great opportunity to build on those numbers against the struggling Bulls.

Cheick Diallo, NO at MIL
FanDuel = $3,800
DraftKings = $4,500

With Randle and Mirotic out, Anthony Davis is going to have to carry even more of the load up front for the Pelicans. However, someone is going to have to help fill Randle’s and Mirotic’s minutes. Diallo is likely one of the prime candidates to spend more time on the floor. While opportunities have been few and far between for him this year, he had 10 points and 10 rebounds in the lone game in which he has logged at least 20 minutes. That’s obviously not a great sample size to be working with, but he might still be worth taking a chance on in tournament play.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 12/19/18

Jarrett Allen, BKN at CHI
FanDuel = $6,400
DraftKings = $5,500

Allen is averaging seven more minutes a game this year compared to his rookie season with the Nets viewing him as a key part of their future. His production has increased along with his playing time, boosting him to averages of 11.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game. The Bulls allow the second-most FanDuel and DraftKings points per game to opposing centers, leaving Allen with a prime opportunity to shine.

Cody Zeller, CHA vs. CLE
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $5,300

Zeller has battled injuries throughout his career, but he’s been able to play 28 games already this season. He’s not logging heavy minutes despite his starting role, but he’s still put up respectable numbers with 9.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, two assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.8 blocks per contest. The Cavaliers are thin at center with Kevin Love (toe) and Tristan Thompson (foot) out, so don’t sleep on Zeller.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/28/18

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

The NBA brings a loaded slate Wednesday with 10 games. The Pelicans, Rockets, Bucks, and Sixers are among the teams in action, leaving a ton of the top talent as options for your DFS lineup. In order to fit those in, you’ll also need the right mix of cheap value plays. Below are two players at each position that stand out as having matchups to possibility capitalize on. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/28/18

J.J. Barea, DAL at HOU
FanDuel = $4,700
DraftKings = $5,000

Barea is only averaging 20 minutes a game, but that hasn’t stopped him from being extremely productive. His 27.1 percent usage rate is actually the highest on the team, helping him average 10.9 points per contest. He also does a great job of facilitating the offense for their second unit with 5.8 assists per night. Both Dennis Smith Jr. (wrist) and Luka Doncic (illness) are listed as questionable, so Barea could be in line for a significant increase in playing time if either or both of them were unable to play. Even if they do take the floor, Barea is an appealing option at this price.

D.J. Augustin, ORL at POR
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,300

Augustin’s 15.4 percent usage rate isn’t great, but he’s still been able to average 10.3 points per game in large part because he is logging 27 minutes a night. The Magic don’t have any other viable options to start at point guard, which has also resulted in Augustin averaging 5.4 assists per contest. His upside isn’t great, but Augustin has a secure enough role to be worth considering in tournament play.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/28/18

Eric Gordon, HOU vs. DAL
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $5,800

The key to this game is the status of Chris Paul (hamstring). If he is forced to miss his third straight game, Gordon will once again be a part of the starting five. He’s thrived in that role this season, averaging 19.9 points and 3.4 rebounds across seven games. His usage rate is 25.2 percent as a starter, which is up from 22.3 percent as a member of the second unit. Gordon’s price has jumped up after a couple of great performances, but he’s still worth adding to your lineup if Paul sits.

Jordan Clarkson, CLE at OKC
FanDuel = $5,100
DraftKings = $5,100

Clarkson had a strange performance against the Timberwolves on Monday where he scored just four points on five shot attempts. Clarkson has a 28.6 percent usage rate and hadn’t attempted fewer than 10 shots in any previous game this year, so chalk it up as just one off night. The Cavaliers are going to need him to score in bunches to keep this game close against Russell Westbrook and company, so don’t be surprised if Clarkson has a bounce-back scoring effort.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/28/18

E’Twaun Moore, NO vs. WAS
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $5,000

Moore was already an important part of the Pelicans success, but he became even more vital after they lost starting point guard Elfrid Payton (finger). Jrue Holiday has been assuming the point guard duties with Payton out, shifting Moore over to shooting guard. Although he might not get a lot of headlines, Moore is averaging 15.8 points per game while shooting 54.4 percent from the field. The last time these two teams met Saturday, Moore scored 19 points. Since both of these teams are in the top-six in the league in pace of play, expect Moore to have plenty of opportunities to score again during their rematch.

Jeff Green, WAS at NO
FanDuel = $4,200
DraftKings = $4,000

The Wizards are going to be shorthanded up front again with Dwight Howard (lower body) already ruled out. While Green doesn’t play the same position, he is still in line for added playing time. Green is also one of their better rebounders, averaging 5.2 rebounds in just 25 minutes a game. His scoring upside isn’t great, but this game should be played at a fast enough pace to make him someone to at least consider if you want to go really cheap at small forward.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/28/18

Marvin Williams, CHA vs. ATL
FanDuel = $5,300
DraftKings = $4,500

Williams is only averaging 25 minutes a game this season, but he’s logged at least 31 minutes in each of his last three games. That’s especially encouraging since the Michael Kidd-Gilchrist returned from injury Monday. Across five games in which Williams has logged at least 30 minutes, he is averaging 14 points. 8.2 rebounds, and one block. He’s also had plenty of success in two previous matchups against the Hawks, averaging 20 points and 10.5 rebounds.

Richaun Holmes, PHO at LAC
FanDuel = $4,300
DraftKings = $3,400

Holmes makes this list for the second straight night after scoring eight points to go along with seven rebounds and two blocks Tuesday against the Pacers. Over the last five games, Holmes is now averaging 10.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and two blocks. His role is secure as the primary backup to Deandre Ayton and the Clippers have some size up front with Montrezl Harrell, Marcin Gortat, and Boban Marjanovic, so expect Holmes to get enough playing time to provide value at this price.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/28/18

Tristan Thompson, CLE at OKC
FanDuel = $7,100
DraftKings = $6,300

Thompson isn’t overly cheap, but center is usually one of the tougher positions to fill in terms of value plays, especially on FanDuel.  Thompson continues to dominate the minutes in the middle for the Cavaliers and should be set there for a while with the news that Kevin Love (toe) isn’t eyeing a return until January. Facing Steven Adams isn’t exactly a walk in the park, but Thompson should at least be a threat to post a double-double Wednesday.

Cody Zeller, CHA vs. ATL
FanDuel = $5,000
DraftKings = $4,100

If you want a cheap play with significant upside, Zeller is not your man. However, he does have a relatively high floor with averages of 9.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per contest. The Hawks are not a good team by any stretch of the imagination, but they do have size up front with Dewayne Dedmon and Alex Len. When these two teams met Sunday, Zeller finished with seven points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one block in 28 minutes.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/19/18

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

The NBA tips off the week with nine games Monday. With so many options to sift through, let’s get right down to business and highlight some cheaper value plays to consider when creating your lineup. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/19/18

Collin Sexton, CLE at DET
FanDuel = $6,000
DraftKings = $5,100

With George Hill (shoulder) out, Sexton is starting and averaging a whopping 36 minutes a game in that role. He won’t provide traditional point guard stat lines but that doesn’t mean Sexton doesn’t have value. Across four games as a starter, he is averaging 18.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists. His price is climbing, but Sexton is still worth starting with Hill remaining on the sidelines.

Jeremy Lin, ATL vs. LAC
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $4,200

People might not be noticing it because the Hawks are terrible, but Lin’s 24 percent usage rate is the third-highest on the team. The player with the second-highest is Tauren Prince (Achilles) at 24.3 percent, but he’s doubtful to play Monday. This could be a high-scoring contest with both the Hawks and Clippers in the top-nine in the league in pace of play, making Lin an intriguing option to consider in tournament play.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/19/18

Jordan Clarkson, CLE at DET
FanDuel = $5,700
DraftKings = $5,200

The Cavaliers didn’t enter the season with a lot of scoring punch, but the loss of Kevin Love (toe) has been a killer for their offense. Clarkson has stepped up to try and fill the void, averaging 15.4 points and 1.2 three-pointers per contest. Although he’s only averaging 24 minutes per contest, his 28.6 percent usage rate if by far the highest on the team with Love currently unable to play.  Clarkson scored 18 points when these teams met earlier this season and should get plenty of opportunities to be productive again in their rematch.

Garrett Temple, MEM vs. DAL
FanDuel = $4,700
DraftKings = $4,300

Temple’s 15.6 percent usage rate is certainly nothing to write home about, but by playing 32 minutes a night, he has been able to average a career-high 12 points per game. Don’t count on him for many assists, but he’s also chipped in 3.7 rebounds and 1.2 steals per contest. There’s no reason to believe his playing time will decrease anytime soon, especially with the Grizzlies off to a 10-5 start. It’s not easy to find a player with such a high minutes floor at this cheap price.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/19/18

E’Twaun Moore, NO vs. SA
FanDuel = $5,300
DraftKings = $5,000

Moore continues to struggle from the free-throw line, but his 55.7 percent shooting from the field has helped him average a career-high 15.6 points per game. With so many great scoring options around him, it’s hard for opposing defenses to key in on stopping Moore, as well. The Pelicans recently lost starting point guard Elfrid Payton (finger), which will push Jrue Holiday into his position. Moore will likely shift over to shooting guard and is locked in for plenty of minutes based on the Pelicans lack of overall depth.

Bojan Bogdanovic, IND vs. UTA
FanDuel = $4,700
DraftKings = $4,600

Bogdanovic is on a roll right now, averaging 15.3 points, four rebounds, and 1.5 steals across his last eight games. He’s been lethal from behind the arc this entire season, shooting 52.3 percent on three-pointers. That percentage likely won’t hold up over the course of the year, but he’s playing 31 minutes a game and is an important part of the Pacers success. His scoring upside is similar to that of Moore’s, making him a potentially intriguing option at an even cheaper price.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/19/18

Derrick Favors, UTA at IND
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $4,600

Favors is averaging just 23 minutes per game, which is his lowest mark since the 2012-13 season. He’s made the most of his time on the floor, though, by averaging 11.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks. The Pacers do have some size up front with Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis, but the pairing of Favors and Rudy Gobert is a handful. Favors’ ceiling isn’t great due to his limited role, but he also has a fairly high floor for someone at this price.

Jerami Grant, OKC at SAC
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $4,900

The Thunder don’t have a very deep roster, which has opened up a starting role for Grant. He didn’t have a lot of value coming off of the bench at the beginning of the season, but Grant has averaged 13 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.1 steals across 12 starts. Both the Kings and the Thunder are in the top-10 in the league in pace of play, so this could be a high-scoring affair that leads to a few extra counting stats for Grant.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/19/18

Cody Zeller, CHA vs. BOS
FanDuel = $4,700
DraftKings = $4,000

Injuries have plagued Zeller throughout his career, but he’s managed to play all 15 games so far this year. He doesn’t receive traditional starters minutes, but he could be in line for added playing time again Monday with Michael Kidd-Gilchrest (ankle) out. Across 12 games in which Zeller has logged at least 20 minutes this season, he is averaging 10.2 points, six rebounds, and 1.5 assists.

Mike Muscala, PHI vs. PHO
FanDuel = $3,900
DraftKings = $3,900

The Sixers bringing in Jimmy Butler is a net positive for the team, but it’s left them thin at power forward. Wilson Chandler has taken over the starting job, but he’s still on a minutes limit as he recovers from a hamstring injury. Over the four games since the trade, Muscala is averaging 8.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, and two three-pointers per contest. At near the minimum price on both sites, Muscala might be worth the risk in tournament play so you can load up elsewhere.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/16/18

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

Friday brings eight games in the NBA, which is highlighted by a matchup between the Celtics and Raptors. With a lot of value play options to consider, let’s get right down to business and highlight some players with favorable matchups. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/16/18

Shelvin Mack, MEM vs. SAC
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $4,200

Mack has bounced around a lot during his career, but he seems to have found a home with the Grizzlies. He’s done an outstanding job as part of their second unit, averaging 11.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per contest. Not known for his scoring abilities, Mack has been pretty consistent with at least 12 points in six of his last eight contests. The Kings play at the second-fastest pace (106.8 possessions per game), which could leave Mack with a few more opportunities to provide value Friday.

Ryan Arcidiacono, CHI at MIL
FanDuel = $4,400
DraftKings = $4,100

The Bulls really miss Kris Dunn (knee). They tried Cameron Payne as their starting point guard when Dunn originally went down, but that was largely a disaster. Arcidiacono showed a lot of hustle and the ability to play defense off the bench, which has now allowed him to overtake Payne at point guard. Across three games since taking over the starting role, Arcidiacono is averaging 10.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists. His upside isn’t great, but the Bucks do play at the fifth-fastest pace (104.3), leaving Arcidiacono as an intriguing cheap option.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/16/18

Rodney McGruder, MIA at IND
FanDuel = $4,600
DraftKings = $4,800

The Heat were decimated by injuries to start the season, which opened up a starting job for McGruder that he has yet to relinquish. Things aren’t as bleak on the health front right now for the Heat, but McGruder is still averaging 12.3 points, three rebounds, three assists, and one steal over his last four contests. One of those was a matchup against these same Pacers when he finished with 11 points, four rebounds, five assists, and one steal. His ceiling might not be as high as it was earlier in the season, but that doesn’t mean he should be ignored at this price.

Allonzo Trier, NY at NO
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,200

The Knicks continue to change up their rotations, but Trier has remained a member of their second unit for all but one game. His overall numbers don’t jump off the page, but he is averaging 13.7 points per game with a 21.4 percent usage rate across seven games in November. The Pelicans play at the fourth-fastest pace (105.1) and allow the fourth-most points per game (115.8), so don’t be surprised if Trier gets hot in this contest.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/16/18

E’Twaun Moore, NO vs. NY
FanDuel = $5,300
DraftKings = $5,200

Playing with Anthony Davis, Jrue Holiday, Nikola Mirotic, and Julius Randle doesn’t leave a lot of headlines left for Moore. However, his contributions shouldn’t go unnoticed, especially of late. With the Pelicans battling injuries, Moore has averaged 26 points and 2.7 three-pointers across his last three games. Elfrid Payton (ankle) is targeting a return for Friday, but the status of Nikola Mirotic (ankle) has yet to be decided. If either one of those players doesn’t take the floor, expect Moore to continue to receive added scoring opportunities.

DeMarre Carroll, BKN at WAS
FanDuel = $4,000
DraftKings = $4,000

Speaking of teams dealing with injuries, the Nets aren’t in great shape right now, either. Caris LeVert (foot) is out for the foreseeable future and Jarrett Allen (illness) and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (ankle) are both listed as questionable. The Nets don’t have a ton of depth up front, to begin with, so if either Allen or Hollis-Jefferson can’t play, Carroll will likely receive increased playing time. That brings him onto the radar in DFS against a Wizards team that plays at the sixth-fastest pace (103.4).

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/16/18

Derrick Favors, UTA at PHI
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $4,500

Favors continues to do damage in limited playing time, averaging 11.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks across just 23 minutes a game. This sets up to be a potential situation where he could dominate based on the Sixers lack of talent up front. The trade of Dario Saric to the Timberwolves has left them with a hole at power forward that they are filling with Wilson Chandler, who doesn’t really have the size to match up well with Favors. Favors likely won’t get extended playing time again Friday, but he could do plenty of damage when he’s on the floor.

Kevin Knox, NY at NO
FanDuel = $4,900
DraftKings = $4,300

Knox has missed seven games due to injury, but he’s scored at least 10 points in five of the eight games in which he’s been able to take the floor. The Knicks gave him the first start of his career Wednesday against the Thunder, resulting in Knox scoring 15 points to go along with five rebounds and one steal. The key is that he played 29 minutes in that contest. If he starts again in this contest, he could be in for another productive night based on the pace at which the Pelicans play.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/16/18

Enes Kanter, NY at NO
FanDuel = $6,000
DraftKings = $6,500

Kanter averaged 29 minutes a game as a starter to begin the year but is playing just 25 minutes a night since moving to the bench. The good news is that his usage rate has jumped up to 26.5 percent as a member of the second unit. He’s also continued to gobble up rebounds, enabling him to average 15.1 points and 12.1 rebounds in his new role. Although he doesn’t come at a significant discount, Kanter is still one of the better cheaper options on the board at center.

Mike Muscala, PHI vs. UTA
FanDuel = $3,600
DraftKings = $3,500

Without question, Muscala is someone to only consider in tournament play. His scoring upside is very limited, but the Sixers don’t have much of a choice but to play him after dealing away Saric and Robert Covington. Across the first two games since the trade, Muscala is averaging nine points and 6.5 rebounds while playing at least 26 minutes in both contests. Putting him into your entry would allow you to load up elsewhere with the savings, so if you don’t mind the risk, Muscala is worth considering.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/5/18

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

With nine games in the NBA on Monday, we’ve got plenty of value play options to consider in DFS. Here are some players with favorable matchups who could help you bring home some cash. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/5/18

Collin Sexton, CLE at ORL
FanDuel = $4,700
DraftKings = $4,600

Things are getting ugly in Cleveland in a hurry. Kevin Love (foot) will be out for at least six more weeks, they’ve already fired their head coach, and now there are reports that some veterans on the team think that Sexton doesn’t “know how to play.” Sexton certainly has a long way to go with his development, but he hasn’t been terrible from a fantasy perspective with 11.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists across just 24 minutes per game. His upside isn’t great, but he’s still worth considering Monday against a Magic team that doesn’t exactly have good point guards in D.J. Augustin and Jerian Grant.

Shelvin Mack, MEM at GS
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,200

Mack has bounced around the league in his career, but he’s found a key role as Mike Conley’s backup with the Grizzlies. He’s even been able to carve out 26 minutes a game, averaging 11.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.3 three-pointers per contest. With the Warriors playing at the 10th-fastest pace (103.9 possessions per game) and this having the potential to be a blowout, Mack could again get enough playing time to provide value.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/5/18

Jordan Clarkson, CLE at ORL
FanDuel = $4,600
DraftKings = $4,500

Clarkson struggled after being dealt to the Cavaliers at the trade deadline last year, averaging 12.6 points across 23 minutes per contest. His playing time has remained the same this season, but he’s averaging 15.8 points per game in large part because his usage rate has jumped up to 28.7 percent. His contributions are mostly limited to points, but with Love out, Clarkson should get plenty of chances to score again Monday.

Garrett Temple, MEM at GS
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,700

After spending the last two seasons with the Kings, Temple has found himself with a starting job in Memphis. He’s not a token starter, either, averaging 32 minutes a game. His 16.7 percent usage rate doesn’t leave him with a ton of scoring upside, but he’s generally played well with 13.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.1 three-pointers per contest. This game could get out of hand early for the Grizzlies, but Temple is still someone to consider for your entry.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/5/18

E’Twaun Moore, NO at OKC
FanDuel = $4,600
DraftKings = $4,800

The Pelicans have some great players on their team, but their depth is actually somewhat limited, aside from Julius Randle coming off the bench, of course. They’ll be without Elfrid Payton (ankle) again Monday, which should force Jrue Holiday to play more at the point. With opposing teams having to focus on stopping Anthony Davis, Holiday and Nikola Mirotic, Moore is sometimes a forgotten man. Don’t sleep on him, though, with his averages of 14.9 points and 1.8 three-pointers game. This could also be a high-scoring contest against two teams who are both in the top-six in the league in pace of play.

Chandler Hutchison, CHI at NY
FanDuel = $4,000
DraftKings = $3,500

The Bulls are shorthanded right now without Lauri Markkanen (elbow), Kris Dunn (knee) and Bobby Portis (knee). Hutchison, one of their two first-round picks in last year’s draft, has been forced to play more than expected early on. His overall numbers aren’t exciting, but he’s started to play more lately and is one of the Bulls’ better defenders. That helped him stay on the floor for 27 minutes Saturday against the Rockets, finishing with 12 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. At this cheap price, he could be worth the risk in tournament play. Of note, Hutchison is only eligible at small forward on FanDuel since he is listed as a shooting guard on DraftKings.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/5/18

Montrezl Harrell, LAC vs. MIN
FanDuel = $5,700
DraftKings = $5,500

Thankfully for everyone who plays fantasy basketball, it appears the Clippers are pulling the plug early on Marcin Gortat as their starting center. This is great news for Harrell and Boban Marjanovic. Although Marjanovic might get another start Monday, this isn’t necessarily a great matchup for him against Karl-Anthony Towns, who is attempting five three-pointers per game. Harrell’s athleticism might result in him playing more than Marjanovic. Across five games in which Harrell has logged at least 20 minutes, he’s averaging 15.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, two blocks, and 1.2 steals.

Jerami Grant, OKC vs. NO
FanDuel = $4,900
DraftKings = $4,400

Another starting experiment that has been cut short is Patrick Patterson at power forward for the Thunder. Grant has taken over that role, averaging 13.6 points, five rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1.2 three-pointers across five games. His scoring will remain limited playing with Russell Westbrook and Paul George, but he has some upside Monday considering the fast pace at which this game will likely be played.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 11/5/18

Boban Marjanovic, LAC vs. MIN
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $4,500

Many within the fantasy community have pined for Marjanovic to get adding playing time, including yours truly. This might finally be his opportunity. Despite only averaging 13 minutes a game this year, Marjanovic has posted nine points, 5.6 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks per contest. In his start Friday against the Magic, he had 10 points and 11 rebounds over 23 minutes. Even though this is not a great matchup for him against Towns, his price won’t remain this cheap for long if he continues to start.

Mitchell Robinson, NY vs. CHI
FanDuel = $4,900
DraftKings = $4,400

Noah Vonleh is now starting at center for the Knicks, but he’s been plagued by foul trouble the last two games. As a result, he only logged a total of 20 minutes in those contests. That opened up some playing time for Robinson, who took advantage by averaging 11.5 points, eight rebounds, and one block. Robinson’s inconsistent playing time makes him a risky option, but there is some upside here.

Point Guard

Ricky Rubio, vs. Mavericks (FD: $7,400, DK: $7,100)
Projected Points: FD: 33.66, DK: 34.15

The Jazz are currently battling over the eighth playoff spot in the West versus the Nuggets and Clippers. This leaves Rubio to leave it all on the court night after night, which he continues to prove to do so. Averaging an insanely impressive plus/minus of +21.3 over the last 617 minutes, he has turned into the superstar of his team.

Dennis Schroder, vs. Kings (FD: $6,200, DK: $6,500)

Projected Points: FD: 35.61, DK: 37.03

Schroder didn’t get the memo that the Hawks are out of contention for a playoff spot. Tuesday night, in an unlikely win over the Jazz he managed a career-high 41 points. Thursday night he’ll go up against a mediocre Sacramento defense that is currently giving up 22.4 points per game and 8.27 assists to point guards, two categories that Schroder has been excelling in lately.

Shooting Guard

James Harden, vs. Pistons (FD: $11,600, DK: $11,600)
Projected Points: FD: 53.49, DK: 55.01

In USA Today, Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said it quite well when he stated, “That’s the best offensive player I’ve ever seen. They were running guys to him, and he just steps a little further back and hits a three. You know, the way he can pass and see the floor, get fouls, layups, floaters, maybe a lob, maybe out to the corner, he has so many weapons, and now he’s shooting those stepback threes, it’s impossible to guard him. It’s impossible.” Look for him to put on another show at home tonight versus the Pistons.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, vs. Pelicans (FD: $5,500, DK: $6,200)

Projected Points: FD: 32.6, DK: 32.72

The Lakers rank first in pace of play, while the Pelicans check in at third, making this Thursday’s fastest-paced matchup. It’s entirely possible that if you blink, you might miss a possession. Caldwell-Pope will receive plenty of opportunities at the shooting guard position, as the Pelicans are on the second game of a back-to-back. I like him best for FanDuel cash games, as his salary there seems perfectly priced. You should see him hit his expected floor of around 32 points.

Small Forward

Joe Ingles, vs. Mavericks (FD: $6,600, DK: $6,400)
Projected Points: FD: 27.01, DK: 28.16

If you’re looking for a hot hand on one of the hottest teams in the NBA, look no further than Ingles. The Jazz, having won 9 out of their last 10, are on a heater at the right time of the season. Each member of the team is stepping up like never before. The price is most certainly right for Ingles, as in his last 10 games he has averaged 14.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Don’t be surprised when you look up on the stat sheet and find him having a 6x-6.5x value game against the Mavs Thursday night.

E’Twaun Moore, vs. Lakers (FD: $4,500, DK: $4,300)

Projected Points: FD: 21.16, DK: 21.64

Even though I’ve already given you a relatively inexpensive option for small forward, I have one more, Moore. In what promises to be the fastest-paced game of the night, Moore will have more than ample opportunities to shoot the ball, which is perfect timing as he appears to be at the beginning of a heater. The Lakers are giving up 30.2 fantasy points to small forward starters, and it shows as last time out versus the Lakers, he scored 29.5 DraftKings/FanDuel points.

Power Forward

Anthony Davis, vs. Lakers (FD: $12,500, DK: $11,700)
Projected Points: FD: 61.82, DK: 61.33

In the middle of the Pelicans’ charge to the playoffs, no team has proved itself capable of stopping Davis. As a result, the Pelicans are leaning hard on him towards the end of the season. In his last ten games, he has managed to average a double-double grabbing 11.3 rebounds and 28.3 points per game. If you can afford the hefty price tag, there is undoubtedly an opportunity for him to go off against the Lakers. In their last two meetings against each other this season he has 71.25 DK points and 72.7 FanDuel points.

Aaron Gordon, vs. 76ers (FD: $7,500, DK: $7,300)

Projected Points: FD: 34.84, DK: 35.01

With Coach Frank Vogel giving Gordon 34 minutes of playing time in Tuesday nights game, you can rest assured Gordon is back and ready to play some ball. Historically, he has done quite well versus the 76ers this season, averaging 18 points, eight rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 blocks per game. If you can’t afford the sizable salary of Anthony Davis in your lineup, you can pivot toward Gordon. Being the hero of what is left of the Magic, he is unlikely to let you down.

Center

Rudy Gobert, vs. Mavericks (FD: $9,500, DK: $8,300)
Projected Points: FD: 39.81, DK: 39.72

With a price of only $8,300 on Draftkings, I don’t see why you shouldn’t lock Gobert in all of your DK lineups for Thursday night. Gobert has been an unstoppable force as no player has been better than him value-wise for March. He has managed to rack up 18.9 points, 13.9 rebounds, 2.4 blocks and has been getting the minutes, averaging 36.1 per game. The FanDuel price seems right, but take advantage of the low salary play on DraftKings while you have the chance.

Dewayne Dedmon, vs. Kings (FD: $5,300, DK: $5,600)
Projected Points: FD: 29.58, DK: 29.37

Dedmon has been on the receiving end of some extra minutes in place of John Collins, who has been dealing with an ankle injury. Tuesday night he went off, most impressively against one of the top defenses in the league, managing to hit 15 points, 15 rebounds, two steals, four assists and a block in 29 minutes of action on the court. He could easily crush value tonight on both websites, as last time out versus the Kings he scored 55 FanDuel points and 56 DraftKings points in only 24 minutes of play. Just imagine what he will accomplish with those few extra precious minutes.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/22/18

Isaiah Thomas, LAL at NO
FanDuel = $5,600
DraftKings = $5,700

Thomas has had a couple of quiet offensive performances, scoring a total of 16 points in his last two games. He was a combined 0-for-7 from behind the arc, so it was mostly a matter of him being cold from the field. Before that, he had scored at least 20 points in three straight contests. Thursday brings a great matchup against a Pelicans team that plays at the third-fastest pace (102.4 possessions per game) and allows the second-most points per game (110.8) in the league, so look for Thomas to have a better offensive showing.

J.J. Barea, DAL vs. UTA
FanDuel = $5,600
DraftKings = $5,500

This is not a good matchup on the surface against a tough Jazz defense. However, the Mavericks will be without Wesley Matthews (leg) and Dennis Smith Jr. (ankle) on Thursday, which is going to leave Barea with a significant role. He logged 29 minutes with both players out Tuesday, finishing with 10 points, four rebounds, and eight assists. Barea has also played well against the Jazz in two previous games this season, averaging 17 points, 2.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists and two three-pointers. There aren’t a lot of great cheap options at point guard, so Barea might be worth the risk.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/22/18

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, LAL at NO
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $6,200

Like Thomas, Caldwell-Pope is in a bit of an offensive slump, shooting just 5-for-16 (31.3%) in his last two games. He’s been able to contribute in other areas though, recording a combined 16 rebounds, five assists and two steals in those contests. He’s played at least 36 minutes in nine of his last ten games, so the heavy playing time helps to give him a high floor. Considering the Pelicans struggles on defense, Caldwell-Pope is another Lakers guard that is a viable option for your entry.

Luke Kennard, DET at HOU
FanDuel = $4,400
DraftKings = $4,000

Kennard has provided an offensive spark of late, scoring at least 10 points in five of his last six games. He played at least 24 minutes in all five of those games, each of which ended in lopsided scores. The Pistons have struggled down the stretch and the Rockets are rolling, so this game could get out of hand early as well. Kennard can provide value with added playing time, so he might be worth taking a chance on at this cheap price Thursday.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/22/18

E’Twaun Moore, NO vs. LAL
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,300

Moore had one of his best offensive performances of the season Wednesday, scoring 23 and hitting three three-pointers against the Pacers. He might not be one of the focal points of the Pelicans’ offense, but he has still managed to score at least 10 points in seven straight games. He gets a lot of time on the floor as well, logging at least 32 minutes in five of his last six games. Not only do the Pelicans play at a fast pace, but the Lakers play at the fastest pace (103.1) in the league. With added scoring possibilities possibly on tap Thursday, Moore is a nice value play once again.

Stanley Johnson, DET at HOU
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,200

Johnson is not a steady scorer, providing nine points or fewer in six of his eight games in March. However, he’s back in the starting lineup now, averaging nine points, five rebounds, and 2.7 steals in his last three games. He’s also been heavily involved in the offense but shot just 10-for-31 (32.3%) during that three-game stretch. If he can get a few more shots to fall Thursday, he could provide significant value when you combine that with his defensive abilities.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/22/18

Nikola Mirotic, NO vs. LAL
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $5,500

March has not been a good month for Mirotic as he is shooting just 38.9% from the field in 11 games. His usage rate was 21.9% during that stretch, so he’s still been heavily involved in the offense despite his struggles. He can score points in a hurry when he’s hot though, giving him upside considering his role in the offense. This has the makings of a high scoring game with how fast both of these teams play, making Mirotic a viable option for your entry.

Cheick Diallo, NO vs. LAL
FanDuel = $3,900
DraftKings = $3,800

Diallo has been a valuable contributor off the bench for the Pelicans, averaging 12 points and 10 rebounds in his last three games. Averaging only 10 minutes per game this season, Diallo played at least 20 minutes in all three of those contests. The Pelicans are playing their third game in three nights Thursday, so expect Diallo and the rest of their bench to see added minutes as they try not to burn out their starters. He could end up being one of the better value plays for the evening at any position.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/22/18

Dewayne Dedmon, ATL at SAC
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $5,600

Dedmon had a surprisingly strong performance against Rudy Gobert and the Jazz on Tuesday, finishing with 15 points, 15 rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block. Even with the Hawks playing for nothing but a high pick in the draft, Dedmon has still logged at least 27 minutes in six of his last seven games. John Collins (ankle) is scheduled to miss his second straight game, freeing up even more minutes in the Hawks frontcourt. The Kings allow the second-most FanDuel points per game and the fifth-most DraftKings points per game to opposing centers, giving Dedmon some upside Thursday.

Mike Muscala, ATL at SAC
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,400

Muscala started at power forward with Collins out Tuesday, scoring eight points to go along with five rebounds, two steals, one block and two three-pointers in 30 minutes. He’s been dialed in from behind the arc, shooting a combined 13-for-25 (52%) on three-pointers in his last six games. The Hawks struggle to defend power forwards as well, allowing the seventh-most FanDuel points per game and the third-most DraftKings points per game to the position. If you want to go really cheap at center, Muscala is someone to consider.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/21/18

There are eight games in the NBA on Wednesday but injuries to star players continue to add up throughout the league. It’s key to find the right cheap daily fantasy basketball sleepers, as a result, to hopefully help create a winning entry. Sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and find the value players that are low-owned on FanDuel and DraftKings like Cameron Payne and Devin Harris.

Use Code “LAB60” at checkout for 60% off Seasonal Package<

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/21/18

Cameron Payne, CHI vs. DEN
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $5,300

The Bulls will be thin at point guard again Wednesday with Kris Dunn (toe) out. Zach LaVine (knee) and Lauri Markkanen (back) are also listed as doubtful, which could leave the Bulls without arguably their three best players. Payne has started and played at least 29 minutes in both of the last two games with Dunn sidelined, averaging 8.5 points, four rebounds, eight assists and 1.5 three-pointers. The Nuggets allow the fifth-most points per game on both FanDuel and DraftKings to opposing point guards, making Payne someone to strongly consider for your lineup.

Antonio Blakeney, CHI vs. DEN
FanDuel = $4,000
DraftKings = $3,900

Blakeney is instant offense, posting a 24.3% usage rate in 18 games with the Bulls this season. He’s played at least 25 minutes in each of the Bulls last three games due to their injuries, scoring at least 10 points in all three contests. He was especially involved in their last two games, attempting 26 total shots. With the Bulls likely desperate for offense Wednesday, Blakeney is a viable option at this cheap price.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/21/18

Devin Harris, DEN at CHI
FanDuel = $4,100
DraftKings = $3,800

The Nuggets will be without Gary Harris (knee) on Wednesday, opening up some minutes in their backcourt. Although Will Barton started in place of Gary on Monday, Devin Harris played 27 minutes, finishing with 13 points, two rebounds, nine assists and one three-pointer. Devin has actually scored at least 10 points in five of his last six games, which might not be that hard to do against the struggling Bulls with added minutes. His upside isn’t high, but he can still provide value.

Malik Monk, CHA at BKN
FanDuel = $3,900
DraftKings = $3,500

The Hornets have their own injury issues with Michael Carter-Williams (shoulder) out for the season and Nicolas Batum (Achilles) doubtful Wednesday. Monk is starting to see increased playing time, averaging 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and three three-pointers in his last two games. Both the Hornets and Nets are in the top nine in the league in pace of play, so Monk could have value with added opportunities to produce possibly on tap.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/21/18

DeMarre Carroll, BKN vs. CHA
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $5,900

Carroll is having his best month of the season in March, averaging 16.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, one steal and 2.8 three-pointers in nine games. He continues to see plenty of playing time, averaging 31 minutes per contest this month. He played well in his last meeting against the Hornets earlier this month, finishing with 15 points, five rebounds, three assists, three steals, one block, and two-three-pointers. Although this isn’t an exciting matchup between two bad teams, Carroll is someone to strongly consider for your entry.

E’Twaun Moore, NO vs. IND
FanDuel = $4,400
DraftKings = $4,300

Moore might not be a flashy option, but he is averaging 11.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.5 three-pointers in his last six games. He played at least 28 minutes in each contest, which goes a long way to giving him value since the Pelicans play at the third-fastest pace (102.4 possessions per game) in the league. Jrue Holiday (illness) didn’t play Tuesday and his status is uncertain for Wednesday as well, which could open up an even greater role in the offense for Moore. Even if Holiday does take the floor, Moore’s normal allotment of playing time still makes him a viable option at this price.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/21/18

Kelly Olynyk, MIA vs. NY
FanDuel = $6,000
DraftKings = $6,300

The Heat will be without their main man in the middle again Wednesday with Hassan Whiteside (hip) set to his miss his sixth straight game. Olynyk didn’t start any of the first five games that Whiteside was sidelined, but he did average 16.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, four assists, 1.2 steals, 1.8 blocks and two three-pointers per contest. He gets to face a struggling Knicks team that has allowed an average of 113.9 points in their last ten games, so don’t be surprised if he has another big performance.

Noah Vonleh, CHI vs. DEN
FanDuel = $4,000
DraftKings = $4,100

The Bulls already wanted to give Vonleh an extended look before they started to suffer all of their injuries, so he’s primed for extended playing time again Wednesday. He has logged at least 26 minutes in three straight games, averaging eight points, 9.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists. He shot a combined 10-for-31 (32.2%) from the field, so his scoring average could have been higher if a few extra shots fell his way. The price is right to take a chance on him in tournament play.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/21/18

Kyle O’Quinn, NY at MIA
FanDuel = $5,300
DraftKings = $4,700

With nothing left to play for but a high draft pick, Knicks starting center Enes Kanter has logged 24 minutes or fewer in each of his last five games. O’Quinn continues to see consistent playing time off the bench, logging at least 21 minutes in four of his last five contests. He’s not always a reliable source of offense, but O’Quinn averaged 8.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.8 blocks in that five-game stretch. With the Heat missing their best rebounder in Whiteside, O’Quinn is someone to consider for your lineup.

Bam Adebayo, MIA vs. NY
FanDuel = $4,300
DraftKings = $4,900

Adebayo has started the last five games with Whiteside out, averaging 6.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists. He only shot 11-for-38 (28.9%) from the field in the last four games, but it shows he’s been involved offensively despite his low scoring average. Olynyk certainly has the higher upside out of the two players helping fill in for Whiteside, but that doesn’t mean you should ignore Adebayo if you want to save money at center Wednesday.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/9/18

The NBA schedule is loaded with ten games Friday. There will be a lot of elite players in action, but it’s key to find the right cheap daily fantasy basketball sleepers to hopefully help create a winning entry. Sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and find the value players that are low-owned on FanDuel and DraftKings like Ben McLemore and Mario Hezonja.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/9/18

Tomas Satoransky, WAS at NO
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $5,500

Satoransky continues to start with John Wall (knee) sidelined, logging at least 31 minutes in nine of his last 11 games. Although he is only averaging 7.4 shot attempts in 17 starts this season, he’s cashed in his opportunities by shooting 57.6% from the field during those contests. The Pelicans play at the fourth-fastest pace (102.5 possessions per game) and allow the second-most points per game (111.5) in the league, giving  Satoransky excellent potential Friday.

Xavier Rathan-Mayes, MEM vs. UTA
FanDuel = $4,000
DraftKings = $4,200

The Grizzlies backcourt will be thin again Friday with Tyreke Evans (ribs), Andrew Harrison (wrist) and Mario Chalmers (hamstring) all out. The Grizzlies signed Rathan-Mayes to a 10-day contract to help restore some depth and he’s actually played a lot, logging at least 26 minutes in back-to-back games. While not spectacular, he did average a respectable 8.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, six assists, and 1.5 steals in those contests. His upside isn’t very high, but it doesn’t have to be to provide value at this cheap price.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/9/18

Ben McLemore, MEM vs. UTA
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $4,800

McLemore has played at least 30 minutes in each of his last three games due to all of the Grizzlies injuries, averaging 16.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.7 steals and 2.3 three-pointers. He attempted at least 11 shots in each contest, showing he should continue to have a significant role offensively until some of the injured players return. Two of those three games came against bad teams in the Bulls and Magic, but McLemore is still someone to consider even against a tougher opponent in the Jazz on Friday.

Kobi Simmons, MEM vs. UTA
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,300

It’s hard to roll with three players in the same backcourt for your entry, but Simmons is yet another cheap Grizzlies player who can provide value. In his last three games, he is averaging 12.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, two assists and 1.7 steals. He played at least 26 minutes in both of the last two games and should again see extended action Friday. He has a limited upside like Rathan-Mayes, but he should still be on your radar.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/9/18

E’Twaun Moore, NO vs. WAS
FanDuel = $4,700
DraftKings = $4,400

Anthony Davis (ankle) is listed as doubtful Friday, dealing the Pelicans a significant blow if he is indeed unable to play. He’s been one of the best players in the league since DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles) went down, so multiple players on the Pelicans are going to have to help fill the void. Moore could be one of those players as he is averaging a career-high 32 minutes per game this season. He has already scored at least 10 points in three of his last four games and has some upside in tournament play.

Mario Hezonja, ORL at SAC
FanDuel = $4,300
DraftKings = $4,200

The Magic will be without two of their five starters Friday with Evan Fournier (knee) and Aaron Gordon (concussion) already ruled out. Hezonja has played well while filling in for injured players throughout the season and should be in line for an expanded role against the Kings. In the 11 games that he has played at least 30 minutes this season, he is averaging 18.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, two steals and 2.3 three-pointers. Don’t hesitate to add him to your entry.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/9/18

Markieff Morris, WAS at NO
FanDuel = $5,700
DraftKings = $5,800

Morris has provided steady production for the Wizards, averaging 14.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.7 three-pointers in his last five games. He is averaging just 27 minutes per game this season but logged at least 31 minutes in four of those five contests. I already detailed the Pelicans struggles on defense, which could be even worse without Davis on Friday. Morris could end the night with a big performance.

Montrezl Harrell, LAC vs. CLE
FanDuel = $5,700
DraftKings = $5,400

Harrell is in the midst of one of his best stretches of the season, averaging 17.1 points and 4.6 rebounds in his last seven games. He was extremely efficient from the field, shooting 50-for-72 (69.4%) in those seven contests. The Clippers play at the sixth-fastest pace (101.3) in the league and the Cavaliers continue to struggle defensively, leaving Harrell with a good opportunity to extend his hot streak Friday.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleepers Lineup Picks for 3/9/18

Enes Kanter, NY at MIL
FanDuel = $6,900
DraftKings = $6,900

Kanter is one of the best players left on the Knicks after Kristaps Porzingis (knee) was injured and is on pace to average a double-double (14.3 points and 10.8 rebounds) for the first time in his career. He could be in line for another big game Friday since he has averaged 18 points and 17 rebounds in his first two meetings against the Bucks this season. The Bucks allow the seventh-most points per game on FanDuel and the fourth-most points per game on DraftKings to opposing centers, so Kanter hasn’t been the only one that has given them trouble. His price isn’t all that cheap, but it’s still low enough to provide value for your entry.

Brook Lopez, LAL at DEN
FanDuel = $5,900
DraftKings = $5,200

Lopez had a big offensive performance Wednesday against the Magic, scoring 27 points in 35 minutes.  He paired that with a shockingly bad performance on the boards, failing to grab a single rebound. The key is that he logged 35 minutes in the game and should continue to see added playing time with Kyle Kuzma taking on some of Brandon Ingram’s (groin) minutes. It will be tough for him to score 27 points again Friday, but it’s also safe to assume he will contribute more on the glass.

Wednesday’s slate in the NBA is packed with nine games, giving you plenty of options for your DFS entry. We took a look at some of the overall excellent plays for Wednesday’s article on Sports Illustrated, but let’s now dive deeper into only the cheaper value plays that can help make you a winner.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks - Value Plays

Rajon Rondo, NO vs. MIL
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $6,300

The addition of Rondo may have seemed unnecessary to some with Jrue Holiday already in the fold, but it doesn’t look like such a crazy move with his recent play. Over the last six games, Rondo has been excellent by averaging 12.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 11.5 assists per game. The Pelicans have scored the fourth-most points per game (110.7) and play at the sixth-fastest pace (102.4) in the league, so Rondo is getting a lot of chances to accumulate assists. Based on his recent play, he’s someone to consider Wednesday.

Milos Teodosic, LAC at ORL
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $3,900

The Clippers had high hopes for Teodosic leading them at point guard this season, but he only played two games before going down with a foot injury. He played 21 minutes in his return against the Toronto Raptors on Monday and finished with 12 points, seven rebounds, and two-three-pointers. Shooting only 4-for-12 from the field, his line could have been much better if he wasn’t ice cold. He should play more minutes Wednesday against a Magic team that allows the second most fantasy points per game on both FanDuel and DraftKings to opposing point guards. There is potential here with Teodosic.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks - Value Plays

Jeremy Lamb, CHA at HOU
FanDuel = $4,900
DraftKings = $5,400

Lamb started Monday against the Oklahoma City Thunder as Nicolas Baum (elbow) was unable to play. He ended up playing 33 minutes and scored 14 points on 17 shots. The volume was encouraging even though his overall point total left something to be desired. Batum is listed as doubtful for Wednesday, so Lamb would likely get another start if he can’t go. Both the Hornets and Rockets are in the top-10 in the league in terms of pace of play, so this could be a high scoring game. If Lamb’s shot is falling, he could provide excellent value.

E’Twaun Moore, NO vs. MIL
FanDuel = $4,600
DraftKings = $4,800

Moore has seen a lot of action for the Pelicans lately, logging at least 35 minutes in seven straight games. He had done that only once all season, so some of that has to do with Anthony Davis (groin) missing four of those seven games. Even so, Moore has been great offensively during that stretch, averaging 19.4 points and 3.6 three-pointers. Davis is questionable for Wednesday’s game, but Moore has likely earned himself more minutes even if Davis returns. At such a low price, he’s worth taking a chance on, especially if Davis doesn’t play.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks - Value Plays

David Nwaba, CHI vs. UTA
FanDuel = $4,600
DraftKings = $4,100

The rebuilding Bulls may have found themselves a player in Nwaba. He provides a ton of energy off the bench and can contribute on both ends of the floor, something a team lacking overall talent desperately needs. Nwaba has earned himself more playing time and has cashed in the opportunity over his last three games, averaging 13.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 26 minutes per contest. Don’t expect him to lose any playing time if he keeps this up, so take a chance on him Wednesday based on his upside at this price. Of note, Nwaba is only small forward eligible on FanDuel as he is eligible at point guard and shooting guard on DraftKings.

Wilson Chandler, DEN at BOS
FanDuel = $4,100
DraftKings = $4,600

Chandler hasn’t played in four of the Nuggets last 11 games, so he may have fallen off of your radar. Although his numbers are way down this season, he’s played better over the last three games by averaging 15.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.0 three-pointers. The Celtics may be forced to go small Wednesday with both Al Horford (rest) and Marcus Morris (knee) out of action, which is a good fit for Chandler’s style of play. He’s not as bad as his early numbers indicate and now that he’s showing signs of coming out of his funk, he’s a viable option for your entry Wednesday.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks - Value Plays

Serge Ibaka, TOR at PHO
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $5,700

I’m not normally a big fan of Ibaka based on the regression he’s seen in the rebounding and blocks departments, but you can’t ignore his play of late. Entering Wednesday, he’s averaging 18.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.0 blocks over his last five games. One of those games was against these same Suns when he scored 19 points to go along with six rebounds and three blocks, which is not very surprising considering how bad the Suns are. I’m willing to take a chance on him keeping his recent string of success going for at least one more game based on his opponent.

Marvin Williams, CHA at HOU
FanDuel = $4,900
DraftKings = $4,900

The Hornets finally received reinforcements up front Monday when Frank Kaminsky returned from an ankle injury. Williams still played big minutes though, scoring 18 points and grabbing seven rebounds in 32 minutes. This is a solid matchup for Williams on Wednesday against the Rockets as they like to go small and shoot three’s. Williams excels on the perimeter, averaging 1.7 three-pointers per game. The price is right to roll with him again in this game.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks - Value Plays

Steven Adams, OKC at IND
FanDuel = $6,900
DraftKings = $6,400

Adams continues to anchor the Thunder in the middle, averaging 18.3 points, 9.7 rebounds and 1.0 steal over his last six games. He excelled in his first game against the Pacers earlier this season, posting 17 points, 11 rebounds, two steals, and two blocks. With the Thunder’s lack of depth, there is really no viable option behind Adams at center. With all the minutes he can handle again Wednesday, he makes a great option for your entry.

Aron Baynes, BOS vs. DEN
FanDuel = $3,600
DraftKings = $3,900

With Horford and Morris out, expect Baynes to start and play significant minutes in this game. Baynes started two games for Horford earlier this season, scoring 21 points and grabbing eight rebounds in one of them. He’s played at least 23 minutes in seven games this season, averaging 8.7 points and 7.6 rebounds. He won’t cost you much, making him someone you should consider in tournament play.
