NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/13/19

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

We have plenty of action in the NBA on Wednesday with 11 games on the schedule. That also means a lot of cheap value players to wade through. Le’ts highlight a couple at each position who stand out as having favorable matchups. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our NBA Lineup Optimizer to help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/13/19

Landry Shamet, LAC vs. PHO
FanDuel = $4,600
DraftKings = $4,000

Shamet hasn’t started in either of his first two games with the Clippers, but he’s certainly made an impact off of the bench by averaging 16 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals. The key is that he logged 27 and 33 minutes, respectively, in those contests. Considering the Suns allow the third-most points per game (115.8) in the league, Shamet stands out as a tournament play option with upside to target at point guard.

Kadeem Allen, NY vs. PHI
FanDuel = $4,000
DraftKings = $4,100

With Emmanuel Mudiay (shoulder) and Frank Ntilikina (groin) out, there has still been significant playing time available for Allen despite the addition of Dennis Smith Jr. at the trade deadline. Allen has cashed in his minutes by averaging 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, six assists and 1.5 steals over his last two games. The Sixers play at the seventh-fastest pace (102.6 possessions per game) in the league, so Allen could provide value once again in this contest based on his increased role.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/13/19

Dion Waiters, MIA at DAL
FanDuel = $5,200
DraftKings = $4,300

After the Heat traded away Tyler Johnson and Wayne Ellington, Waiters has found his way into the starting five. The role has suited him so far with him averaging 15.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and four assists. He’s not just a token starter, either, since he logged at least 30 minutes in all three contests. He’s never one to shy away from taking shots, so he’s intriguing in DFS as long as he remains a starter.

Jaylen Brown, BOS vs. DET
FanDuel = $5,200
DraftKings = $5,100

The key here will be if Kyrie Irving (knee) plays or not. He sat out Tuesday’s game against the Sixers and with the All-Star break approaching, it wouldn’t be surprising if he sits this one out. If he does, Brown should see an increase in scoring opportunities. Across the previous six games that Irving has missed, Brown has averaged 18.3 points, six rebounds and one steal. Even though his performance against the Sixers was underwhelming Tuesday, his track record indicates he could provide value.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/13/19

Mikal Bridges, PHO at LAC
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $4,800

The Suns will remain shorthanded with T.J. Warren (ankle) and De’Anthony Melton (ankle) still sidelined. Tyle Johnson (ankle) is also listed as questionable. Bridges has been thriving with added playing time, averaging 13.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.6 steals over his last seven games. The Clippers play at the ninth-fastest pace (102.2), leaving Bridges with the potential for another valuable stat line.

Joe Harris, BKN at CLE
FanDuel = $5,300
DraftKings = $4,600

The Nets remain in the thick of things in the Eastern Conference as they currently occupy the sixth seed. Harris is not a flashy name, but he’s been a key reason for their success. He’s a lethal three-point shooter, which has propelled him to averaging 16.8 points across his last six games. The Cavaliers allow the second-highest three-point shooting percentage (37 percent) in the league, so Harris has the potential to go off in this contest.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/13/19

Dario Saric, MIN vs. HOU
FanDuel = $5,100
DraftKings = $4,600

Saric has finally overtaken Taj Gibson as the starter at power forward. Gibson was a favorite of former coach Tom Thibodeau’s, but Saric has a higher upside at this stage of his career. In a start Monday against the Clippers, Saric scored 19 points to go along with eight rebounds, two assists and two steals across 33 minutes. The previous game in which he logged at least 30 minutes, Saric scored 22 points and had seven rebounds and five assists. Don’t hesitate to take advantage of his new role by deploying him at this reasonable price.

Al-Farouq Aminu, POR vs. GS
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $4,500

DeMarcus Cousins (rest) will not play in this game, which should make things easier for Aminu and the Blazers’ frontcourt. Aminu hasn’t provided eye-popping stats in three previous meetings against the Warriors this season, but he’s played well with averages of 9.3 points and 8.7 rebounds. It also helps his cause that the Warriors play at the 10th-fastest pace (101.8), so don’t be surprised if he at least approaches a double-double.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/13/19

Mitchell Robinson, NY vs. PHI
FanDuel = $5,000
DraftKings = $4,100

DeAndre Jordan was averaging 31 minutes a game as a member of the Mavericks. He’s remained a starter for the Knicks, but he’s only averaging 27 minutes a night since joining the team. That’s partly because of the Knicks’ desire to develop Robinson. Robinson has certainly earned the right to stay in the rotation, averaging 9.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.5 blocks across his last eight games. If this game gets out of hand, he could see even more minutes in garbage time.

Ivica Zubac, LAC vs. PHO
FanDuel = $4,200
DraftKings = $4,000

Zubac has had mixed results in his first two games with the Clippers. He stormed out of the gate with 12 points, nine rebounds and three blocks Saturday against the Celtics. He followed that up with a dud against the Timberwolves on Monday in which he scored three points and grabbed just one rebound. The difference was he played 23 minutes against the Celtics and just 15 against the Timberwolves. Considering how cheap he is, it might be worth taking a chance on him receiving more minutes Wednesday, especially since the Suns allow the sixth-most Yahoo points per game (39.3) to opposing centers.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/11/19

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

Monday brings a busy night in the NBA with nine games on the schedule. Without further ado, let’s dive in and highlight a couple of cheap value plays at each position that stand out as having favorable matchups. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our NBA Lineup Optimizer to help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/11/19

Collin Sexton, CLE vs. NY
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $4,900

The Cavaliers have wasted no time getting Sexton involved in his rookie season, resulting in him averaging 30 minutes a game. Expect that number to be on the rise after the trade deadline saw them ship away Rodney Hood and Alec Burks. He’s averaging 23.3 points, four rebounds and 3.7 assists across his last three games and has an excellent opportunity to be productive again Monday versus a Knicks team that has their own depth chart problems at guard.

Patrick Beverley, LAC at MIN
FanDuel = $5,100
DraftKings = $5,100

With Tobias Harris no longer in town, Beverley is lined up to remain in the starting five. It’s a role that has suited him since he’s averaged 11.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.3 steals across his last 12 games. With the Clippers playing at the ninth-fastest pace (102.3 possessions per game) in the league, don’t hesitate to add Beverley to your entry based on his reasonable price on both sites.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/11/19

Jordan Clarkson, CLE vs. NY
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $5,200

Not only are the Cavaliers thin at guard without Hood and Burks, but they were also two of their better offensive players. That leaves Clarkson with even more scoring responsibilities. With averages of 19 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists across his last six games, Clarkson is an intriguing option despite his lack of defensive contributions.

Luke Kennard, DET vs. WAS
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $3,900

Things were looking up for Kennard when the Pistons traded away Reggie Bullock and Stanley Johnson. However, even without them on the roster, Kennard came off of the bench Friday against the Knicks. The good news is that he attempted 13 shots across 29 minutes. Unfortunately, he made just four of them. To complicate matters, the Pistons have now signed Wayne Ellington after he was bought out by the Suns. That’s not encouraging for Kennard’s long-term value. On the bright side, the Wizards play at the eighth-fastest pace (102.4) and Kennard should still see added playing time Monday. He’s someone to at least consider in tournament play, especially at his cheap price on DraftKings.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/11/19

Bojan Bogdanovic, IND vs. CHA
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $5,800

The Pacers have picked themselves up after losing Victor Oladipo (knee) for the season, winning five straight games. Bogdanovic has been on fire during that stretch, averaging 24.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.2 steals. The key to his offensive explosion is that he averaged 16.8 shot attempts per game in those contests compared to 12.2 for the season, overall. As long as he’s putting up shots at this rate, he’s going to provide increased value.

Jabari Parker, WAS at DET
FanDuel = $3,900
DraftKings = $5,600

Talk about two contrasting prices. Parker isn’t all that cheap on DraftKings, but he’s close to the minimum price on FanDuel. He’s finally getting to play again after being traded away from the Bulls and has shown he can still be very productive. He could receive even more playing time Monday if Jeff Green (hip) is unable to take the floor. He’s a lock for me on FanDuel, but don’t shy away from him on DraftKings, either.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/11/19

Al-Farouq Aminu, POR at OKC
FanDuel = $5,100
DraftKings = $4,400

Aminu has had plenty of success against the Thunder this season, averaging 10 points, 14 rebounds and three assists across their first two meetings. Things should be even easier for him in this game with Jerami Grant (ankle) already ruled out. That could leave him with a very favorable matchup against Patrick Patterson, who hasn’t been productive even in the few games in which he has seen added playing time this season.

Dario Saric, MIN vs. LAC
FanDuel = $3,700
DraftKings = $4,400

This game might favor Saric over Taj Gibson. The Clippers play at a fast pace and play small with Danilo Gallinari starting at power forward. Gibson is a good defender, but chasing Gallinari around the three-point arc is not exactly ideal for him. Saric has had a couple of strong stat lines of late, including a 22-point performance against a tough Grizzlies’ defense last week. Stay away from Saric in cash games, but he could be worth the risk in tournament play, especially at his price on FanDuel.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/11/19

Dwight Powell, DAL at HOU
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $4,800

The addition of Kristaps Porzingis (knee) is huge for the Mavericks’ future, but the trade left them extremely thin up front for the rest of this season. The trade of Harrison Barnes to the Kings further complicated matters. Powell is now left as one of the key players to help hold down the fort. He’s managed to turn his increased playing time into averages of 10.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 0.8 steals and one block across his last five games. The Rockets don’t have much size up front, so this could be a matchup to take advantage of.

Ivica Zubac, LAC at MIN
FanDuel = $3,900
DraftKings = $4,000

The Clippers clearly prefer to bring Montrezl Harrell off of the bench. Considering how well he’s playing, that’s not a bad thing. Zubac started in his first game since being acquired from the Lakers and scored 12 points to go along with nine rebounds and three blocks over 23 minutes. Harrell should continue to see the bulk of the playing time at center, but Zubac shouldn’t be overlooked at this cheap price.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/7/19

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

Thursday’s six-game slate in the NBA has a chance to turn on a dime with the trade deadline set for 3:00 PM EST. If there was ever a day to be glued to Twitter for news, this is it. As things currently stand, here are a couple of cheap value plays at each position that are worth considering for your entry. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our NBA Lineup Optimizer to help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/7/19

Jerryd Bayless, MIN at ORL
FanDuel = $5,700
DraftKings = $5,800

It will be slim pickings at point guard again for the Timberwolves on Thursday with Derrick Rose (ankle) and Tyus Jones (ankle) out and Jeff Teague (foot) listed as doubtful. Bayless had a rough scoring night against the Grizzlies on Tuesday, scoring five points on just 2-for-10 shooting from the field. On the bright side, he did still dish out eight assists. This is a much easier matchup against the Magic and D.J. Augustin, so look for Bayless to have a nice bounce-back performance.

Patrick Beverley, LAC at IND
FanDuel = $5,100
DraftKings = $5,500

The Clippers shook things up this week by trading Tobias Harris to the Sixers. Even though they currently occupy the eighth seed in the Western Conference, they are trying to free up cap space and acquire draft picks to pursue elite players. With Harris no longer in the fold, Beverley should retain his starting job even when Danilo Gallinari (back) does return, which could be as early as this game. Across his last 10 starts, Beverley is averaging 11.4 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.2 steals.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/7/19

Terrence Ross, ORL vs. MIN
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $5,100

As odd as this sounds, the Magic could probably make a push for the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference if they made a couple of moves. Their record sits at 22-32, but they are only four games out of the final spot. However, the more likely route they take is to trade away some players with the hopes of gaining draft picks. Ross could be on the trade block since he will be a free agent at the end of the season. If the Magic don’t move him, he’s certainly someone to consider for your lineup based on his averages of 17.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists across his last 15 games.

Justin Holiday, MEM at OKC
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $5,200

The Grizzlies could be one of the busiest teams at the deadline. They are reportedly looking to move Mike Conley and Marc Gasol. Gasol already won’t play in this game and the Grizzlies are also dealing with several other injuries. The ones that impact Holiday the most are Garrett Temple (shoulder) and Kyle Anderson (shoulder). If both players can’t take the floor, Holiday should receive plenty of playing time. They have actually both missed each of the previous three games, which allowed Holiday to average 17 points, six rebounds and one steal during that stretch.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/7/19

Jonathan Isaac, ORL vs. MIN
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $5,400

One player who it would be shocking to see moved Thursday is Isaac. He’s one of the building blocks for the Magic after being selected sixth overall in the 2017 Draft. That security alone helps his stock in DFS. Add in the fact that he’s averaging 10.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.9 blocks across his last eight games and he’s an even more appealing option to consider.

Bojan Bogdanovic, IND vs. LAC
FanDuel = $5,700
DraftKings = $5,600

Bogdanovic has stepped up offensively with Victor Oladipo (knee) out, averaging 22.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, three assists across his last four games. He’s averaging 12 field goal attempts per game for the season, but he averaged 16.5 attempts per contest during that four-game stretch. The Clippers play at the ninth-fastest pace (102 possessions per game) in the league, so Bogdanovic could be in line for another significant offensive performance in this matchup.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/7/19

Ivan Rabb, MEM at OKC
FanDuel = $6,300
DraftKings = $5,100

With Gasol already ruled out, Rabb should see an increase in playing time. The Grizzlies could really have to lean heavily on him if JaMychal Green (knee) and Joakim Noah (heel) are both forced to miss their second straight game. With all three players out Tuesday against the Timberwolves, Rabb scored 19 points to go along with 11 rebounds, two steals and a block across 33 minutes.

Marcus Morris, BOS vs. LAL
FanDuel = $5,300
DraftKings = $5,500

Morris (knee) is expected to return for this matchup with the Lakers after sitting out Tuesday against the Cavaliers. This is certainly a spot where he could shine considering the Lakers play at the fourth-fastest pace (103.7). Morris is also averaging 16.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and two assists across his last four games. The only real concern here is if the Lakers pull off a blockbuster move, their roster could be left in shambles while they wait for their new players to join the team. That could lead to a blowout, which might limit Morris’ playing time. If the Lakers remain largely in tack, Morris is a strong option to consider.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/7/19

Myles Turner, IND vs. LAC
FanDuel = $7,700
DraftKings = $6,500

If you’re playing on FanDuel, the cheap center options are not very appealing for this slate. With that being said, I’ll have to go a little higher up on the price scale to find an appealing option. Turner stands out as having a great matchup against the Clippers, who allow the second-most DraftKings points per game and the fourth-most FanDuel points per game to opposing centers. Turner has also stepped up since Oladipo went down, averaging 16.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.9 blocks over his last seven games.

JaVale McGee, LAL at BOS
FanDuel = $4,600
DraftKings = $4,500

Of all the names bantered around in trade rumors for the Lakers, you don’t hear McGee come up that often. The more appealing option for teams is the younger Ivica Zubac. If Zubac gets traded, McGee would be in line for a significant increase in playing time. Even if he doesn’t, McGee might be worth considering in tournament play against a banged up Celtics’ frontcourt that will be without Aron Baynes (foot) and could also be missing Robert Williams (back), who is listed as questionable.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/5/19

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

Tuesday’s eight-game schedule in the NBA brings plenty of cheaper value play options, especially with teams like the Grizzlies, Timberwolves, Clippers and Celtics all battling injuries. Let’s highlight a couple of players at each position who stand out as having favorable matchups. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our NBA Lineup Optimizer to help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/5/19

Jerryd Bayless, MIN at MEM
FanDuel = $5,900
DraftKings = $5,400

Well, Derrick Rose’s (ankle) return from injury was certainly brief. He played 20 minutes against the Nuggets on Saturday but has already been ruled out for this game against the Grizzlies. Tyus Jones (ankle) is out, as well, and Jeff Teague (foot) is listed as doubtful, so expect Bayless to once again receive all of the playing time that he can handle. He’s cashed in his added minutes lately, averaging 15.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, eight assists and one steal across his last six games.

Patrick Beverley, LAC at CHA
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $5,200

The Clippers will once again be without the services of Danilo Gallinari (back), although it appears his return is on the horizon. Beverley has played well filling in for him in the starting five, averaging 11 points, 7.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.3 steals across his last nine games. With the Clippers playing at the ninth-fastest pace (102.1 possessions per game) in the league, the added playing time should once again leave Beverley with value.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/5/19

Dennis Schroder, OKC vs. ORL
FanDuel = $5,300
DraftKings = $4,800

The Thunder still don’t have a very deep roster, but the addition of Schroder over the summer has been huge for them. A fixture of the Hawks starting five the last two seasons, Schroder is averaging 15.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game despite coming off of the bench for the majority of this year. The key is that he’s still averaging 29 minutes a game to go along with the third-highest usage rate (25.1 percent) on the team. Schroder had plenty of success when these two teams squared off last week, scoring 21 points to go along with three rebounds and four assists in 28 minutes.

Jaylen Brown, BOS at CLE
FanDuel = $5,100
DraftKings = $4,900

The first name that likely comes to mind whenever Kyrie Irving (hip) is out is Terry Rozier. He’s certainly a great option since Irving won’t play in this game, but he’s not overly cheap. Brown, on the other hand, has a juicy price tag on both sites. Across the last five games that Irving has missed, Brown has averaged 20.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and one steal. That included a matchup with these same Cavaliers when he scored 23 points and grabbed six rebounds in 25 minutes. He stands out as one of the best value plays of the night.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/5/19

Jonathan Isaac, ORL at OKC
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $5,300

Isaac is finally starting to show signs of why the Magic think so highly of him. He’s seen a slight increase in playing time lately, which has helped him average 10.4 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.9 blocks across his last seven games. The Magic don’t play at a fast pace, but they’ll need to speed things up Tuesday to keep up with the Thunder, who play at the third-fastest pace (103.9). The last time these two teams met, Isaac had a nice all-around line with 11 points, eight rebounds, two steals and a block.

Nicolas Batum, CHA vs. LAC
FanDuel = $5,200
DraftKings = $5,100

Batum has been more involved offensively, of late, which helped him average 12.5 points across his last eight games. The increase in scoring leaves him with upside considering he also averaged 5.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.9 steals and one block during that stretch. His value could be impacted significantly if the Hornets make any moves leading up to the trade deadline, but for Tuesday, he’s at least someone to consider in DFS.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/5/19

Larry Nance Jr., CLE vs. BOS
FanDuel = $6,300
DraftKings = $5,800

The Cavaliers won’t have much depth up front for this game with Kevin Love (toe), Tristan Thompson (foot) and Cedi Osman (ankle) all out. They also suffered a blow to their offense when Rodney Hood was traded to the Blazers over the weekend. With so little talent around him, Nance, who is coming off of consecutive double-doubles, has a chance to shine despite this being a tough matchup against the Celtics.

Marvin Williams, CHA vs. LAC
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $4,900

Williams hasn’t been shy about shooting from behind the arc, which has resulted in him averaging a career-high 5.2 three-point attempts per game. He’s made an average of two of them per contest, which has provided a significant boost to his offensive upside. He’s no slouch in the rebounding department, either, with 5.5 boards a night. The first time these two teams met, Williams scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him provide similar production in their rematch.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 2/5/19

Ivica Zubac, LAL at IND
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $4,600

Zubac (finger) is listed as probable for this game with the only caveat being his name has been mentioned in trade rumors. With how aggressive the Lakers plan to be on that front, it will be important to monitor for news throughout the day. If no deal is made and Zubac does play Tuesday, he does make for an intriguing option. His price has actually come down a bit lately, but he was still just one rebound shy of a double-double in his last game Saturday against the Warriors.

Boban Marjanovic, LAC at CHA
FanDuel = $4,100
DraftKings = $3,500

After spending a lot of time riding the pine, Marjanovic has reappeared for the Clippers. He’s taken the floor in each of their last three games and averaged 10.3 points, eight rebounds and one steal across 16 minutes per contest. We’ve seen this before, so there’s a chance he might not even play Tuesday. However, with how quickly he can fill up the stat sheet, he might be worth taking a chance on in tournament play.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/30/19

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

Wednesday brings eight games to the table in the NBA. There aren’t many exciting matchups, so this is a perfect time to add some juice to the night by playing DFS. Let’s highlight a couple of cheaper options at each position that stand out as having favorable opportunities to provide value. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our NBA Lineup Optimizer to help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/30/19

Jerryd Bayless, MIN vs. MEM
FanDuel = $5,000
DraftKings = $5,000

Things are already looking bleak at point guard for the Timberwolves for this contest. Jeff Teague (foot) and Tyus Jones (ankle) have been ruled out while Derrick Rose (ankle) is listed as questionable. Bayless has been forced into a more prominent role due to all of their injuries and has played well with averages of 15 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.5 assists and one steal across his last four games. The Grizzlies are a tough defensive team, but if Rose is unable to play again, Bayless should receive enough playing time to still provide value.

Tim Frazier, NO vs. DEN
FanDuel = $3,500
DraftKings = $3,200

Elfrid Payton (ankle) was a late scratch for Tuesday’s game against the Rockets, which left Frank Jackson to start. Even though Frazier came off of the bench, he still logged 23 minutes and finished with 10 points, four rebounds, 10 assists and a steal. Across 19 games in which Frazier has played at least 20 minutes, he’s provided respectable averages of 7.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 0.9 steals, so he could be someone to take a chance on in tournament play if Payton can’t play again.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/30/19

Jaylen Brown, BOS vs. CHA
FanDuel = $4,700
DraftKings = $4,700

The Celtics will likely be without their top offensive weapon Wednesday since Kyrie Irving (hip) is expected to miss his second straight game. Terry Rozier is usually the first name that comes to mind as someone to roster when Irving is out, but don’t sleep on Brown. He played 32 minutes Monday and finished with 21 points, six rebounds and two assists. In the previous game that Irving missed against the Cavaliers, Brown scored 23 points to go along with six rebounds and a steal.

Wayne Ellington, MIA vs. CHI
FanDuel = $3,700
DraftKings = $3,500

The Heat are already playing without Goran Dragic (knee) and Derrick Jones Jr. (knee) and could also be missing Tyler Johnson (calf) and Dwyane Wade (knee), who are both listed as questionable for Wednesday. Ellington started with Johnson out Sunday against the Knicks and scored 19 points across 31 minutes. His contributions outside of the scoring column will likely continue to be limited, but he could be someone to take a risk on if he gets another start considering how poorly the Bulls have played defensively.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/30/19

Darius Miller, NO vs. DEN
FanDuel = $4,200
DraftKings = $3,800

With all of the injuries that the Pelicans are dealing with, Miller received another start Tuesday. He played a whopping 40 minutes, which helped him to record 14 points, one rebound, four assists and three steals. He generally makes the most of added playing time, averaging 10.7 points, 2.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 0.9 steals across 12 games in which he has logged at least 30 minutes. If Julius Randle (ankle) is out again, Miller is someone to target.

Jabari Parker, CHI at MIA
FanDuel = $4,000
DraftKings = $4,100

Just when we thought Parker was in fantasy wasteland, he explodes for 22 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks against the Nets on Tuesday. The key was that he played 23 minutes, which was just the second time he has logged at least 20 minutes in a game since the beginning of December. It’s hard to count on him to receive added playing time again, but he has the offensive skillset to put up lines like this if given extended run. Considering how cheap he is on both sites, rostering him might be a risk worth taking.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/30/19

Marcus Morris, BOS vs. CHA
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $5,300

Morris provided a well-rounded performance against the Nets on Monday, scoring 15 points to go along with eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and two blocks over 31 minutes. He attempted 13 shots and should continue to be relied upon offensively with Irving set to miss Wednesday’s game. He’s been in a bit of a shooting slump lately, but his role in the offense leaves him with enough upside to warrant consideration.

Derrick Favors, UTA at POR
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $5,300

Despite averaging just 23 minutes a game, Favors has been able to average 11 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per contest. He’s shooting a career-high 57.1 percent from the field, which has really helped to offset his lack of playing time. After averaging 9.7 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.7 blocks across three previous games against the Blazers this year, Favors also has some appeal at his reasonable price on both sites.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/30/19

Dewayne Dedmon, ATL at SAC
FanDuel = $6,300
DraftKings = $5,600

The Hawks have to be thrilled with how well Dedmon is playing leading up to the trade deadline. Since they are in the early stages of their rebuilding process, he figures to be one of the players that they try to move. He’s averaging 15.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, two assists, 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks over his last four games and should continue to start moving forward. There could be even more opportunities for him to be productive Wednesday since the Hawks and the Kings are the top-two teams in the league in pace of play.

Mitchell Robinson, NY vs. DAL
FanDuel = $5,000
DraftKings = $4,000

The Knicks seem to be making it clear that Enes Kanter isn’t going to play anymore. Luke Kornet (ankle) is still on the shelf, so Robinson is going to have a secure role with their second unit. Over the last four games without both players, Robinson has averaged 8.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.3 steals and three blocks. Expect his scoring upside to remain limited, but his defensive abilities make him an intriguing tournament option.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/25/19

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

The NBA rebounds from a quiet Thursday with 10 games on the schedule Friday. The combination of so many games and the increasing amount of injuries across the league have made for a lot of cheap value play options to consider. Here are a couple that stand out at each position. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our NBA Lineup Optimizer to help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/25/19

Jerryd Bayless, MIN at UTA
FanDuel = $4,000
DraftKings = $3,600

The Timberwolves are running out of healthy point guards. Jeff Teague (foot) and Tyus Jones (ankle) have already been on the shelf and then Derrick Rose (ankle) went down Thursday. With all three of them very much in doubt for this contest, Bayless could find himself with plenty of playing time. He played well after Rose left Thursday, scoring 16 points to go along with two rebounds, eight assists and one steal across 30 minutes.

Shabazz Napier, BKN vs. NY
FanDuel = $3,800
DraftKings = $3,600

The Nets are dealing with their own injury issues. Spencer Dinwiddie is being evaluated for a thumb injury and could be out awhile if it’s determined that he is indeed dealing with torn ligaments. Losing him could be devastating with Caris LeVert (foot) and Allen Crabbe (knee) still out, as well. If Dinwiddie doesn’t take the floor Friday, expect Napier to receive more playing time. Across 10 games in which Napier has played at least 20 minutes, he’s averaged 14.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.2 steals.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/25/19

Eric Gordon, HOU vs. TOR
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $5,300

Chris Paul (hamstring) appears to be nearing a return, but reports seem to indicate he might sit out Friday despite being listed as questionable. If he does indeed sit, Gordon would remain a great option in DFS. He’s been an excellent running mate for James Harden, averaging 19.5 points, four rebounds and 2.7 assists over four games since returning from injury. However, once Paul does return, expect Gordon to see a decline in scoring opportunities.

Josh Okogie, MIN at UTA
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,400

With the Timberwolves depleted at guard, Okogie is another player who with the potential for added playing time. He logged a whopping 40 minutes against the Lakers on Thursday and finished with nine points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal. It should be noted that he was only 2-for-14 from the field. If he can get close to that many shot attempts again Friday, he could provide value at his cheap price on both sites.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/25/19

Kelly Oubre Jr., PHO at DEN
FanDuel = $6,000
DraftKings = $5,600

Oubre kept things rolling against the Blazers on Thursday, scoring 18 points to go along with six rebounds, seven assists, two steals and three blocks. He played 35 minutes and should continue to receive a heavy dosage of playing time with T.J. Warren (ankle) out for the next two-to-three weeks. When the Suns faced the Nuggets a couple of weeks ago, Oubre exploded for 26 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block.

Gary Harris, DEN vs. PHO
FanDuel = $4,400
DraftKings = $5,000

The Nuggets initially brought Harris off the bench after his return from injury, but he started Wednesday against the Jazz. He played 28 minutes and finished with 16 points, two rebounds, two assists and a block. Expect him to start and see more playing time again Friday. Of note, Harris is only listed at small forward on FanDuel since he is listed at shooting guard on DraftKings. His price on DraftKings isn’t all that appealing, but he’s a bargain worth considering on FanDuel.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/25/19

Bobby Portis, CHI vs. LAC
FanDuel = $5,300
DraftKings = $5,700

With the Bulls in a free fall, they would be wise to play Portis as much as possible. He’s not shy about taking shots, which is evident by his 26.2 percent usage rate. Across nine games in which he has played at least 20 minutes, Portis has been productive with averages of 13.9 points and 8.8 rebounds. Don’t expect much from him defensively, but this is still a great matchup against the Clippers, who allow the most DraftKings points per game and the fourth-most FanDuel points per game to opposing centers.

Dragan Bender, PHO at DEN
FanDuel = $4,600
DraftKings = $4,600

The Suns have been playing shorthanded up front with Deandre Ayton (ankle) and Richaun Holmes (foot) out for each of their last three games. That’s opened up a starting job for Bender, who has cashed in by averaging 14 points and 7.7 rebounds. If both Ayton and Holmes can’t play Friday, Bender is a great option to deploy in tournament play.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/25/19

Mitchell Robinson, NY at BKN
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $4,000

The Knicks are a mess. They continue to change up their rotations, especially at center. Luke Kornet (ankle) will be out for a couple of weeks and the team seems to be souring on Enes Kanter, who didn’t play at all Wednesday against the Rockets. This could mean more minutes for Robinson, who is a shot blocking machine. He played at least 16 minutes in both of the last two games and averaged 10 points, 3.5 rebounds, one steal and 2.5 blocks. The Nets allow the third-most DraftKings points per game and the third-most FanDuel points per game to opposing centers, leaving Robinson with the potential for a productive stat line.

Mason Plumlee, DEN vs. PHO
FanDuel = $4,300
DraftKings = $3,900

This game has the potential to get ugly early. Not only do these two teams have very different records, but they are both headed in the opposite direction in terms of injuries. Don’t be surprised if this becomes a blowout, which could lead to added playing time for Plumlee. That could be huge considering the Suns allow the most FanDuel points per game and the fifth-most DraftKings points per game to opposing centers.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/24/19

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

There are only four games in the NBA on Thursday, but the evening is full of star power with the Warriors, Thunder, and Blazers all set to take the floor. If you want to get some of the studs into your DFS lineups, you’ll need to find some cheaper value plays to help with your budget. Let’s examine two players are each position that fit that mold. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our NBA Lineup Optimizer to help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/24/19

Derrick Rose, MIN at LAL
FanDuel = $6,600
DraftKings = $6,500

The Timberwolves blew out the Suns on Tuesday, leaving Rose to play just 23 minutes. He only attempted nine shots, his fewest in a game in over a month. This matchup is set up for him to have a nice rebound performance considering the Lakers play at the third-fastest pace (104 possessions per game) in the league. Jeff Teague (foot) is listed as questionable and Tyus Jones (ankle) might not be able to play again Thursday, either, which could leave Rose with plenty of playing if this game stays close.

Tomas Satoransky, WAS vs. GS
FanDuel = $6,000
DraftKings = $5,400

Satoransky continues to receive significant playing time with John Wall (heel) out, logging at least 30 minutes in eight of his last 11 games. That’s an important threshold for him to reach since he has averaged 12.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.7 steals across 11 games in which he’s played at least 30 minutes. This has the potential to be a high scoring game between two teams that are both in the top-10 in the league in pace of play, making Satoransky an intriguing option.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/24/19

Dennis Schroder, OKC vs. NO
FanDuel = $5,700
DraftKings = $4,800

Schroder had a lofty 30.4 percent usage rate on a bad Hawks team last year, so there was no question that number was going to decline this season playing with Russell Westbrook and Paul George. While that has come to fruition, he’s still one of the Thunder’s main scoring options with his 25.5 percent usage rate. This is another great opportunity for him to be productive with the both the Thunder and the Pelicans inside the top-six in pace of play. In his first two meetings with the Pelicans, he’s averaged 23 points, three rebounds, and three assists.

Josh Hart, LAL vs. MIN
FanDuel = $4,600
DraftKings = $4,600

Hart returned to the starting five Tuesday, but only played 20 minutes due to the lopsided score. There’s a chance he could return to the bench for this contest if Rajon Rondo (hand), who is listed as questionable, is able to play. Even if Rondo does return, the Lakers will still be playing shorthanded without LeBron James (groin) and Lonzo Ball (ankle). There should be enough available minutes for Hart to at least be worth considering at this cheap price.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/24/19

Kelly Oubre Jr., PHO vs. POR
FanDuel = $6,000
DraftKings = $5,700

Yet another injury has impacted the Suns with T.J. Warren (ankle) being their lastest player to go down. He’s already been ruled out for Thursday, which is significant considering he’s averaging 32 minutes a game and has a 22.9 percent usage rate. Oubre is one of the players who should see increased playing time as a result of Warren’s absence. Oubre is already rolling with averages of 19.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.5 steals across his last eight games, so any added minutes could be huge for his upside.

Jeff Green, WAS vs. GS
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,300

Otto Porter Jr. is starting to come on strong for the Wizards but they continue to bring him off the bench. Green has been the one in the starting five and has averaged 12.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists across 22 games in that role. Based on the pace at which this game should be played, Green is a viable option at his cheap price on both sites.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/24/19

Josh Jackson, PHO vs. POR
FanDuel = $5,300
DraftKings = $5,300

The other player who should benefit from the absence of Warren is Jackson, who could even move into the starting five. Regardless of whether he starts or not, the potential for added playing time makes Jackson very appealing. Over the nine games in which he has played at least 30 minutes, he’s been very productive with averages of 15 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.1 steals.

Dragan Bender, PHO vs. POR
FanDuel = $4,600
DraftKings = $4,600

The Suns’ frontcourt could be extremely thin in this game with Deandre Ayton (ankle) and Richaun Holmes (foot) listed as questionable. Ayton and Holmes have missed back-to-back games, which left Bender to start. He came through with a double-double in both games, so it’s hard to argue against rolling with him at this price if he starts despite the Blazers being tough on opposing centers.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/24/19

Jahlil Okafor, NO at OKC
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $4,900

Okafor hasn’t had many opportunities to take the floor with the Pelicans. However, they decided to move him into the starting five due to the injury to Anthony Davis (finger). To say that the experiment has gone well is an understatement. He played at least 31 minutes in both games, averaging 18.5 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocks. Expect him to start again Thursday, leaving him with plenty of upside if you’re looking to save some money at center.

Ivica Zubac, LAL vs. MIN
FanDuel = $4,800
DraftKings = $4,700

Zubac is heating up again. He’s played at least 20 minutes in each of the last three games, which helped him average 20.3 points and 7.7 rebounds during that stretch. Tyson Chandler is starting to see his playing time trail off, so don’t be surprised if Zubac continues to hang onto an expanded role. His upside isn’t as high as Okafor’s, but Zubac is not someone to overlook if you can’t make Okafor’s price work within your budget.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/8/19

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

The NBA doesn’t let up Tuesday with eight more games on the schedule. With the combination of a busy slate and plenty of injuries throughout the league, we have some great value play options to consider. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our NBA Lineup Optimizer to help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/8/19

T.J. McConnell, PHI vs. WAS
FanDuel = $4,700
DraftKings = $4,300

McConnell continues to provide excellent defensive contributions by averaging 1.5 steals across his last 20 games. His scoring numbers aren’t always there, but his steals and assists still make him someone to consider. This also stands out as an excellent matchup for him with both the Sixers and the Wizards in the top-nine in the league in pace of play.

De’Anthony Melton, PHO vs. SAC
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $4,100

Devin Booker (back) didn’t practice Monday after having to leave Sunday’s game against the Hornets. Melton was forced to play 26 minutes in that contest and finished with five points, seven rebounds, four assists, and a steal. If Booker is unable to play, Melton has some upside against a Kings team that plays at the second-fastest pace (104.9 possessions per game). Even if Booker is able to give it a go, Melton might be worth a look in tournament play based on the Suns’ overall lack of depth at point guard.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/8/19

Dwyane Wade, MIA vs. DEN
FanDuel = $5,300
DraftKings = $5,000

Wade might be in the twilight of his career, but don’t sleep on him Tuesday. He comes into this game playing well, averaging 13.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, and four assists across his last nine games. With Goran Dragic (knee) out, Wade should continue to see added opportunities to help facilitate the Heat’s offense. This isn’t necessarily a great matchup against a tough Nuggets’ defense, but Wade is still priced low enough on both sites to warrant consideration.

Josh Okogie, MIN at OKC
FanDuel = $4,300
DraftKings = $4,300

It’s going to be important to monitor the Timberwolves’ rotations over their next few games with Tom Thibodeau out as their head coach. Thibodeau was notorious for having short rotations and riding his starters for heavy minutes, so there could be a few players that have significant swings in value. The good news for Tuesday from a minutes projection perspective is that both Derrick Rose (ankle) and Robert Covington (ankle) have already been ruled out. Okogie could receive another starting nod, as a result. Across 10 previous starts, he has averaged 7.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and one steal.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/8/19

DeAndre’ Bembry, ATL at TOR
FanDuel = $5,400
DraftKings = $4,600

Another team battling various injuries is the Hawks, who will be without Taurean Prince (ankle) and Kent Bazemore (ankle) for this matchup against the Raptors. Bembry has been forced into more playing time of late and has come through with averages of 10.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, two assists, and 1.1 steals across his last seven games. Even though this will be a tough task against a good defensive team, the Hawks play at the fastest pace (105.5) in the league, leaving Bembry with some upside based on his expanded role.

Otto Porter Jr., WAS at PHI
FanDuel = $4,900
DraftKings = $5,600

Porter stands out as a great cheap option, especially on FanDuel. He hasn’t played more than 24 minutes in any of his three games since returning from injury, but that hasn’t stopped him from averaging 17 points, six rebounds, three assists, and 1.5 steals across his last two contests. This game should be played at a fast pace and Porter is said to have no minute’s restriction, further making a case to roll with him in your entry.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/8/19

Marvin Williams, CHA at LAC
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $5,300

Williams’ averages for the season aren’t really anything to get overly excited about. However, he’s heated up after a slow start, averaging 13.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, and one steal across his last 10 games. He’s been especially hot from behind the arc, draining at least two three-pointers in a game eight times during that stretch. The Clippers allow the seventh-most points per game (114.3) in the league, setting up Williams with a favorable opportunity to continue his recent run of success.

Josh Jackson, PHO vs. SAC
FanDuel = $4,100
DraftKings = $4,900

If Booker doesn’t play in this game, Jackson is another option who could stand to benefit from his absence. Jackson has had a hard time finding consistent playing time, but he’s averaged 11.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, three assists, and one steal across 25 games in which he has logged at least 20 minutes.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 1/8/19

Willy Hernangomez, CHA at LAC
FanDuel = $5,100
DraftKings = $4,400

After Cody Zeller (hand) went down, the Hornets immediately turned to Hernangomez as their starting center. However, his stint in that role lasted just one game. He’s come off of the bench in two games since and has still been productive with averages of 14.5 points, seven rebounds, and 2.4 assists. The Clippers allowed the fifth-most FanDuel and DraftKings points per game to opposing centers, making Hernangomez a great cheap option to target.

Kevon Looney, GS vs. NY
FanDuel = $4,600
DraftKings = $4,000

I’m definitely in favor of rolling with Henrnangomez in your lineup if you want to save money at center. However, if your budget needs even more assistance, Looney could also be productive. The Knicks can’t stop anyone right now and continue to change their rotations up front, so it’s hard to establish any sort of rhythm defensively. Despite playing with so many stars around him, Looney has still managed to average 8.9 points and 6.4 rebounds over his last seven games.

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 12/31/18

*Mike Barner — @rotomikebarner*

Monday might not be the busiest day in the NBA with just seven games, but there are plenty of the top teams in action. It makes for some interesting choices in DFS, so let’s examine a couple of cheap players at each position who could provide value. Don’t forget to sign up for our Newsletter and try our Playerlab tool, where you can filter the stats that matter the most and help build a winning entry on FanDuel and DraftKings.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 12/31/18

J.J. Barea, DAL at OKC
FanDuel = $4,600
DraftKings = $4,600

The Mavericks and Thunder just played each other Sunday, a contest in which Barea scored six points to go along with 10 assists and one steal across 21 minutes. Despite receiving limited playing time off of the bench this year, Barea has still been able to average 11.4 points and 5.7 assists per game, overall. His 27.8 percent usage rate has been one of the main reasons for his offensive success and makes him a viable target once again Monday.

Tyus Jones, MIN at NO
FanDuel = $4,500
DraftKings = $5,000

Jeff Teague (ankle) and Derrick Rose (ankle) were both unable to play Sunday against the Heat, which opened up a starting role for Jones. He provided excellent all-around production, scoring 12 points to go along with four rebounds, five assists, and five steals across 36 minutes. If Teague and Rose can’t play again Monday, Jones could in line for another great game against a Pelicans squad that plays at the fifth-fastest pace (103.5 possessions per game) in the league.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 12/31/18

Dennis Schroder, OKC vs. DAL
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $5,400

The Thunder still don’t have a great bench, but the addition of Schroder has been a big reason why they are off to a 22-13 start. His numbers are down compared to last year when he was with the Hawks, but that was to be expected considering he’s now playing alongside Russell Westbrook and Paul George. However, he’s still averaging 16.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.1 steals per game, making him someone to consider at his reasonable price on both sites.

Austin Rivers, HOU vs. MEM
FanDuel = $3,800
DraftKings = $4,900

It’s will be slim pickings for the Rockets backcourt Monday with Chris Paul (hamstring) and Eric Gordon (knee) both sidelined. Rivers hasn’t been with the team long, but he’s expected to start in this contest. He’s averaged 10 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists across three games with the Rockets and could be an excellent value play in DFS, especially considering his price on FanDuel.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 12/31/18

Mikal Bridges, PHO vs. GS
FanDuel = $4,700
DraftKings = $4,200

The Suns initially brought Bridges off of the bench this year, but he’s started each of their last 20 games. The staring role has brought a significant increase in playing time for Bridges, who has averaged 33 minutes across his last 15 games. One of his key contributions has come on the defensive end with him averaging 1.6 steals across that 15-game stretch. Even though he’s not much of a scorer, his overall contributions still make him a viable option Monday against a Warriors team that plays at the 10th-fastest pace (101.7).

Kelly Oubre Jr., PHO vs. GS
FanDuel = $4,200
DraftKings = $4,300

Oubre has put up a couple of offensive clunkers, scoring a combined eight points in his last two games. The good news is that he continued to chip in defensive stats despite his scoring troubles, totaling two steals and three blocks in those contests. He has scored at least 13 points in three of six games since joining the Suns, so don’t read too much into his recent poor play. His price is low enough on both sites that it might be worth taking a chance on him having a bounce-back performance.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 12/31/18

Marcus Morris, BOS at SA
FanDuel = $6,000
DraftKings = $5,800

The Celtics have significant depth, which has limited the fantasy value of some of their players. However, Morris hasn’t seen a decline in production with everyone finally healthy. In fact, he’s having one of the best seasons of his career, averaging 15.4 points and 6.2 rebounds a game. His 21.2 percent usage rate is actually fourth-highest on the team, which is encouraging for his value moving forward. The Spurs struggle to defend opposing power forwards, so don’t be surprised if Morris finishes with a juicy stat line Monday.

Jerami Grant, OKC vs. DAL
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $5,200

Grant is finally getting his chance to shine this season, averaging 31 minutes a game. He doesn’t get a ton of scoring opportunities, but he’s still averaging 12.3 points per game based on his increased playing time and 52.5 percent shooting from the field. The Thunder play at the fourth-fastest pace (103.5) in the league, which also helps with regards to Grant’s production. Morris has the higher upside of the two, but Grant is also worth considering if you want to use even less of your budget at power forward.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 12/31/18

Steven Adams, OKC vs. DAL
FanDuel = $6,800
DraftKings = $7,000

Adams had a quiet outing against the Mavericks on Sunday, scoring eight points to go along with nine rebounds and two steals. He only attempted five shots, which tied for his fewest in a game this season. He has one of the highest minute’s floors of anyone at the center position, so don’t worry too much about one off night. In fact, the first time these two teams played each other this season, Adams thrived with 20 points and 13 rebounds.

Kevon Looney, GS at PHO
FanDuel = $4,200
DraftKings = $3,700

DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles) is inching his way towards a return, and when he does, Looney is likely to lose some playing time. Looney has actually done a nice job stepping into the starting lineup and has even averaged 9.2 points and 7.2 rebounds across his last five games. With all of the Suns’ defensive deficiencies, this could be a spot to deploy Looney if you want to go the extremely cheap route at center.

POINT GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 12/19/18

Terry Rozier, BOS vs. PHO
FanDuel = $4,200
DraftKings = $4,300

Rozier shined filling in last season when the Celtics were dealing with several key injuries, but he’s been limited to just 23 minutes a game this year with Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward back in the fold. However, there are a couple of factors that could work in his favor Wednesday. First, Jaylen Brown (hand) is listed as questionable, so if he doesn’t take the floor, that could open up some added minutes for Rozier. Second, this game could get out of hand early with how poorly the Suns have played and this game being played in Boston. Rozier would also gain some added garbage time minutes in that scenario, so he might be worth the risk in tournament play.

Tyus Jones, MIN vs. DET
FanDuel = $3,900
DraftKings = $3,600

The Timberwolves will be without Jeff Teague (ankle), which will move Derrick Rose into the starting five. Rose is a great DFS option, as a result, but his price doesn’t exactly make him a cheap value play. Jones, on the other hand, isn’t too far off from the minimum price on both sites. He ended up playing 24 minutes in a blowout win over the Kings on Monday, scoring 10 points to go along with three rebounds, 10 assists, and two steals. This game figures to be closer, but that doesn’t mean Jones won’t play enough to be worth considering for your entry.

SHOOTING GUARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 12/19/18

Marcus Smart, BOS vs. PHO
FanDuel = $5,200
DraftKings = $4,900

Like Rozier, Smart has seen a significant reduction in his playing time this season. However, if Brown doesn’t play, Smart will likely move into the starting five. Across nine previous starts, Smart has averaged 8.8 points. 3.1 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 2.8 steals. His scoring upside won’t be high whether he starts or comes off the bench, but his contributions in other areas would still make him a viable target with the added playing time.

Jamal Crawford, PHO at BOS
FanDuel = $4,300
DraftKings = $3,600

In a bit of an odd move, the Suns have waived Austin Rivers after acquiring him from the Wizards. They don’t have much depth at point guard, so Rivers could have been a valuable addition. Maybe they really like the production that they have received from Crawford, who is averaging nine points, 2.3 rebounds, and 8.7 assists across his last three games. Crawford will continue to be relied on to help play point guard Wednesday, so he could provide value despite this matchup against a tough Celtics defense.

SMALL FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 12/19/18

Nemanja Bjelica, SAC vs. OKC
FanDuel = $5,800
DraftKings = $4,800

Monday’s game was pretty much worst-case scenario for the starters on the Kings. They were pulled early after digging a deep deficit and never returned to the game. Bjelica only played five minutes, but don’t get scared away from him because of one oddball game. Marvin Bagley III (knee) will be out again Wednesday, setting Bjleica up for the opportunity for heavy playing time if the Kings can keep this game close.

E’Twaun Moore, NO at MIL
FanDuel = $4,300
DraftKings = $4,600

Speaking of teams dealing with injuries, things are looking ugly for the Pelicans for this game. Elfrid Payton (finger), Julius Randle (ankle) and Nikola Mirotic (ankle) will all be out, leaving a ton of available minutes. Randle and Mirotic are also two of their best offensive options, so expect Moore to be one of the players that they look to for adding offense. That could leave him as a great option in DFS since both the Pelicans and Bucks are in the top-five in the league in pace of play.

POWER FORWARDS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 12/19/18

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, BKN at CHI
FanDuel = $5,600
DraftKings = $5,600

Hollis-Jefferson was sidelined with an injury to start the season and then he was stuck behind Jared Dudley when he was able to return. He’s finally reclaimed his starting spot, which is key because he’s averaged eight minutes more per game as a starter than when he comes off of the bench. The added playing time has helped him average 12.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.2 steals across his 13 starts and he’ll get a great opportunity to build on those numbers against the struggling Bulls.

Cheick Diallo, NO at MIL
FanDuel = $3,800
DraftKings = $4,500

With Randle and Mirotic out, Anthony Davis is going to have to carry even more of the load up front for the Pelicans. However, someone is going to have to help fill Randle’s and Mirotic’s minutes. Diallo is likely one of the prime candidates to spend more time on the floor. While opportunities have been few and far between for him this year, he had 10 points and 10 rebounds in the lone game in which he has logged at least 20 minutes. That’s obviously not a great sample size to be working with, but he might still be worth taking a chance on in tournament play.

CENTERS

NBA Daily Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Lineup Picks for 12/19/18

Jarrett Allen, BKN at CHI
FanDuel = $6,400
DraftKings = $5,500

Allen is averaging seven more minutes a game this year compared to his rookie season with the Nets viewing him as a key part of their future. His production has increased along with his playing time, boosting him to averages of 11.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game. The Bulls allow the second-most FanDuel and DraftKings points per game to opposing centers, leaving Allen with a prime opportunity to shine.

Cody Zeller, CHA vs. CLE
FanDuel = $5,500
DraftKings = $5,300

Zeller has battled injuries throughout his career, but he’s been able to play 28 games already this season. He’s not logging heavy minutes despite his starting role, but he’s still put up respectable numbers with 9.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, two assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.8 blocks per contest. The Cavaliers are thin at center with Kevin Love (toe) and Tristan Thompson (foot) out, so don’t sleep on Zeller.
